Fair enough, as much as I like the mod I like CE more so I guess my request is to the community if anyone is kind enough to make a CE patch that would be great. For now, I'll be unsubbing.

Hello there, I've had a problem with this mod: for some reason the Heavy Rifle doesn't count as a ranged weapon for hunters. Hopefully this is solvable? Thanks.

@QingOfWorms It shouldn't be allowed to spawn on raiders, might be due to the new update, or an incompatibility with another of your mods.

You can't use empty pixels to artificially "enlarge" the sprite, thereby making it "appear" smaller than it does now?

@BreezeLetterGaming Sprites in RimWorld are jerks, everything uses the same dimensions (unless you use JecsTools). If you look at the revolver and the assault rifle for instance, they are the same size, can't really do anything about it unfortunately.

Has anyone brought up that the Rail Pistol is HUGE? It's "bigger" than any of the other weapons here. I mean, damn, it's almost as big as an adult pawn.

Btw, Rimsenal is pretty close to vanilla/median balance among mods so that's what I used to assess the preferred performance of a class of weapon. Let me know if you'd like me to share some numbers/the script.

I wrote a script to compare weapon qualities between mods. These weapons and glitter tech seem pretty far out of balance. Work to make is about 15x lower than comparable tech level weapons in other mods and max DPS is about 8x that of comparable weapons in other mods. Range is significantly higher and accuracy is higher at every range. My experience playing has born this out since I see [Poor] Prototype Railbows drop really early and then I can just dominate huge bands of enemies with 1 or 2 of these for the rest of the game. My balance method has been to multiply work to make by 17 or 18, cut the accuracy and range to just barely outperforming similar weapons of that class, and then adjust bullet damage and ROF until DPS is closer to comparable. Brings their wealth values inline with their performance and their performance to just a bit better than other modded spacer tech.

Finally got to the point I could make one of the bows. Can confirm they are true bows as i was able to use the ranger's arrow storm ability. I appreciate that you didn't add explosive shots to the high range weaponry, or else I wouldn't be able to provide adequate support fire. Loving this so far and look forward to whatever else you make.

Just an aside, be careful using some weapons if you are using Shooting Targets mod..... I forgot and my Researcher just died as he was repairing the wall when my cook blew him up with one of the rifles.... I'm sure everyone but me knew that, but I forgot about the explosive rounds.... RIP Dano. So, so close to those sweet sweet next level rimatomics lol.

Thanks for the response mate, I'm slowly building a base with all my favorite mods, and you getting back to me helps. I didn't realize the explosive part, def makes sense! Now if I could just keep mycolonists from wearing slave collars without being assigned them lol.

@ganj47 Thanks for the comment :D! Also, the 'Hunter lacks ranged weapon' prompt will show up when a hunter is using an explosive weapon. The regular projectile weapons should remove the prompt. As for the research, that is next on my list to change.

Anyone else having a problem with anyone that has a Valkyrie weapon and set to hunter it says that the hunter lacks a ranged weapon? I like the concept though, a lot. I thought it was weird getting to them before I ever got to machine table assault rifles, but I guess (?) it makes sense when they cost so much rare resources maybe, just think I should have to have researched assault rifles in regular way before I can build one by 3D printing. I love it though!

personally i feel that all the weapons are unbalanced without costing at least a few components each to make, especially considering the high value of the weapons in terms of accuracy like the railgun. it's also IMHO a little unbalanced that we can research gun printing from basically the mid game level instead of having to have a multi analyzer.

i find that the light rifle is the strongest overall with its dps and hit rate
