I hope it can be updated, and the slaves can also be applied to it.

Hello! I am making a mod and I would like to know what file you edited to achieve this. Thank you!

Does this still work?

Does this work on npcs as well as the player character? And does it have to be low or high in the load order?

Does this fix the physics bug?

Would it be possible to create a mod that would allow me to make the character thinner. So that my character looks like my girlfriend.

I tried the variable [x] Is Config variable - the devkit tells you what .ini file it supposedly resides in, but I could never get it to work. And yes, it's a new .ini file as you said but the file operation of said devkit stuff is missing afaik.

I was not talking about official servers of course, they aren't modded and only funcom members can administrate them, they are out of our reach (and not really interesting imho).

No mod can modify the serversettings.ini from a mod afaik, you can change stuff like create a new file to store data, modify (and even add) data in the database, etc..
But only funcom can add new options for the serversettings.ini (and they arn't all wrote in the base .ini .. some you have to add by yourself).
I may be wrong but then, I would like to know why nobody in 2 years ever used this .ini to add setting for their mod then. (And there are mods that have admin settings for a server, notably is pickup+ )
StrayGenius  [author] 12 Mar, 2019 @ 11:23pm
Understood. My attempts at both adding a UI element - like something in server settings - with adding a config variable - like a SETTING= in ServerSettings.ini (which is supposedly supported) have failed (and I gave it a good try). So again my suggestion is to use the CharEditLite mirror to adjust height in-game at will (it uses the Shorter Taller range and allows tweaking your Tiny or Giant).
Strom 12 Mar, 2019 @ 7:30pm
@Nemo - I didnt mean for the official servers. For example lets say Stay's adjusts tiny as 30% smaller and giant as 30% larger. Maybe add a dedicated server setting for mod that lets the server admin change that to 25% smaller / larger instead of 30%.
StrayGenius  [author] 12 Mar, 2019 @ 12:14am
I assure you Tiny and Giant are both playable. Again however, there are different problems with each. If you use the extreme height you should have a mirror handy from CharEditLite to be able to reign your height in in the event of a serious height issue (for example if you need to climb a lot and are giant, you will want to restrict giant height to feasts and such, climbing as a giant means falling back down most of the time).
Nemo 11 Mar, 2019 @ 5:14pm
no modder can create that Scipio, only funcom can modify the servers settings avaiables in the server.cfg file.
Strom 5 Mar, 2019 @ 7:41am
Any chance to add a server setting that will adjust the range of height a player may select?
Grimmiekins 5 Mar, 2019 @ 12:47am
my giant was a thrall npc, she could fight world bosses but like anything else she just couldnt hit it unless it was on a small hill infront off her XD
StrayGenius  [author] 4 Mar, 2019 @ 9:08pm
CharEditLite is important as it's mirror would be the only way to change height after character creation. I recommend going middle height (as per a normal height) when attempting any dungeon or real game challenge.
StrayGenius  [author] 4 Mar, 2019 @ 9:07pm
There are issues with both tiny and giant but the giant actually fights better as in having more reach. The giant also has trouble cresting when climbing as the feet need to be close to the edge to be able to stand (climb to a higher point, move sideways and drop to stand and not fall back down). Both look bad sitting in a chair. So yes, the game does not work well with either, but if you don't mind the extra problems being tiny or giant (as in getting used to them) it's fine.
Grimmiekins 4 Mar, 2019 @ 6:26pm
i thought CharEditlite already had this feature , i know i made a giant with chareditlite and the problem was she couldnt attack anything, she looked badass but would just stand there and get beat on
