Try using CHLSimulateReacquireHQWeapons console command or add upgrade slots to the weapons using mods.

CHLSimulateReacquireHQWeapons instructions: In strategy, remove the nickname from all TLP/Chosen weapons and unequip them to
XCom HQ (replace their weapons with generic infinite weapons). Then, run the console command
`CHLSimulateReacquireHQWeapons` to give those weapons their missing upgrades.
This console command may not affect: Weapons in soldiers' inventories, weapons with nicknames.

You're not supposed to remove them. The bug comes from the fact attachments were removed.
Chosen Weapons attachments slots are set to 0 and are added on creation only.

Found a curious yet very unpleasant bug. After I changed upgrades on Warlocks rifle, I ran a few missions and after that all upgrades dissapeared. And even if I take a new one from the console, there are still none of them on the rifle.

really strange after i disabled this mod it seemed to work perfectly, the Arashi spawned with the right attatchments and no Stock, not sure what the issue is but the stock seems to be a permanent feature if this mod is enabled. i dont quite understand it

This can only happen if you or another mod made changes in XComGameData_WeaponData.ini.
You could also try the troobleshooting links in the description.

yea i tried all of those, it just seems to add the attachment along with keeping the one i removed, even spawning in a new one just has 5 attachements (the stock and the repeater when it should only be the repeater) even though theres only 4 attatchments in the config.

Did you change the config at all? Do you have any mod that change the attachments?
There are console commands to delete and add the items. You will be able to find the one you need in the comments here.

I'm having an issue where its keeping the old attachments along with the new ones, i switched the Arashis (shotguns) Stock for a repeater but the stock remained and the repeater was also added, any idea how to fix that cos i don't want the weapons too be *too* OP just more in line with their role

Does anyone have the problem of not being able to delete Chosen Weapons? I've tried deleting them but they only keep adding. I was able to delete supplies without any issue,

Biography and Names are separate things. Changing the name of your soldier won't change the name in the biography.

Thank you will try it but one question is there a way to edit a soldier's biographies cause when I rename soldiers their original names in the Bio section stay

Not sure I understand what you are saying. If you mean you can have all weapon attachments by modifying the config file then yes you can.

Sorry someone mentioned this "modifications he made, each update of the attachments with a certain number and each weapon with the attachments that he has, just increase the data of the attachments and place all the missing attachments in the all weapons that missing attachments of the Chosen." to get the mod to work can you please do that

@SirViss They just released an update for the Highlander today.

"FIX FOR MISSING CHOSEN AND TLP WEAPON UPGRADES:
In strategy, remove the nickname from all TLP/Chosen weapons and unequip them to XCom HQ (replace their weapons with generic infinite weapons). Then, run the console command `CHLSimulateReacquireHQWeapons` (without backticks) to give those weapons their missing upgrades. There is an issue with the current version of the Highlander at the moment that prevent weapon mods to be installed on TLP weapons and chosen weapons. You can revert to a previous version of the Highlander or wait for the update. It shouldn't be too long.

Great mod, thanks! Been wanting expanded mag on the Darklance for so long. Can confirm does work in the middle of a game. If you already have the chosen weapons, just delete them using console commands and respawn them. Want to change mods? Just edit the ini, delete and recreate.

How to open console:

Yes if the item has already been created it took the upgrade listed in the .ini. You would have to add the item using Console Command to make it work now.
I will try to see if I can make it so the upgrades can be switched.

i changed free action into free kill because 5 mods would be excessive. do i need a new darklance for it to work?

Yes it is possible. Here the only change I needed was for the Stock. Just wonder why I would swap attachments if I can just ini change?
I've tried with Better Repeater from DerBK and it is working fine. Could you tell me what you have changed? I should be FreeKillUpgrade_Sup

Also, why is there no repeater on the list? i wanted to add supressor (replaces repeater) on sniper but it doesnt work

Ok, I've done all the steps, except for deleting the cached shaders because i'm not really sure how to do that.
When i spawn a Darklance it has no upgrades at all and no way to add them.
Could be the shaders or another mod or my savegame itself, but i will quit now searching for the error. It's defenitly to much work for some extra bullets.

Did you remove the "+" at the begining of the line by any chance?

First you could try to unsub, resub. Start a new game and spawn the weapon. If you don't have the weapon upgrade try this next step.
Try to delete the configs and cached shaders folders and Verify Local Cache :

- Verify your game cache. Even if done before, do it again.
- Delete the Documents\My Games\XCom2\Config directory (where the settings are saved )
- Verify your game cache
- Try and run again

but when I start the game I still have the Stock upgrade instead of the Clipsize upgrade.
I use a mod for an additinal weapon upgrade slot. Maybe that causes a problem.
I will try the console.

I have tested it mid-game so it should work for you too. The only change this mod make is for the Dark Lance, so be sure to check that weapon. You can also try to spawn one using console commands.

Doesn't work with my savegame. The upgrade slots are still unavailable.
I found the upgrade entries in the ini file and changed them manually but that has no effect either.
I guess this works only for new games.
