Ohhh i see, Thanks!

You mean the white pathing lines (and green/red/white/pink nodes) shown in the screenshots? That's the in-game debug mode, you won't ever see that on this intersection or anywhere in a normal game.

Gracias

@gac2: Yes, techically this isn't a road, it's a fancy bus stop, so as far as the game is concerned there's not a continuous "road" between towns (even though cars and pedestrians can actually drive/walk there).

If the warning bothers you, you can disable it with my Disable enforceMainConnections mod, or edit the config file as described on the top of that mod page.
gac2 18 Jun, 2020 @ 4:19pm
I added this intersection and it works amazing, however, it keeps giving me an alert that the cities connection is severed. Seems to be working though, my busses and freight trucks pass normally and passenger cars seem to also be passing normally. Is it just a glitch because it thinks its a bus stop thats in the way?
[FR] Antonino 13 May, 2020 @ 2:09am
Yes I saw it but I wasn't find it in the game so now I have find it and it works very well thanks :) Amazing mod good job
SoftwareSimian  [author] 29 Apr, 2020 @ 4:59am
@antodus92: What don't you understand?
Did you see the screenshots and video above?
[FR] Antonino 28 Apr, 2020 @ 12:08pm
Hi, I would like to know how it work in game, because I don't understand
SoftwareSimian  [author] 6 Dec, 2019 @ 9:21am
@kf6shc: technically in-game it's a bus stop, you'll find it under Road | Passenger.
s5shul346 6 Dec, 2019 @ 7:59am
how do i access this from within my game? i havent been able to locate thus far. thx
Decky 27 Nov, 2019 @ 9:34am
Sehr gute arbeit...genau das was ich gesucht habe!
SoftwareSimian  [author] 14 May, 2019 @ 9:40am
@michalm-ller: because there are no taxis in the game?
If a modded "taxi" is really a bus, then it should behave the same as any other bus.
FrostSpirit_HD 14 May, 2019 @ 8:06am
Ok. This mod looks pretty pretty nice. But a Question: Why is this thing not available for Taxis?
LiviaGumz 30 Apr, 2019 @ 2:58pm
Amazing
PavelKM 21 Mar, 2019 @ 6:53am
it look a bit off when trams go through other trams. Not realistic
SoftwareSimian  [author] 17 Mar, 2019 @ 6:53am
v0.9.2 - 2019-03-17
* trams could not turn left to/from a 1-lane street to/from >1-lane street
SoftwareSimian  [author] 13 Mar, 2019 @ 4:55pm
@Skunk Monkey: you can disable the warning either with a simple config change, or a simple mod (config changes detailed on the mod page):

The Greatest No8b 13 Mar, 2019 @ 4:37pm
nice but look a bit off when traims go through the Intersections
Skunk Monkey 13 Mar, 2019 @ 1:55pm
You can disable that warning? I know you can disable not being able to delete the connection, but did not know you could remove the town bitching about the connection warning. Or am I a confused old man here?
SoftwareSimian  [author] 13 Mar, 2019 @ 10:18am
@Skunk Monkey: I also noticed that yesterday by chance in a test map. I normally wouldn't notice because I always have that warning disabled. I don't think there's anything I can do about it, we'll call that a game bug where it only specifically checks for roads connecting the towns, not whether vehicles can get there or not.
Skunk Monkey 13 Mar, 2019 @ 10:04am
Just a small observation: This will not satisfy a town connection. I placed one at the edge of a city on a road that connects to the next city and still had the not connected warning.
Albert Pietrosanu 12 Mar, 2019 @ 10:24am
Not real at all sory...
SoftwareSimian  [author] 12 Mar, 2019 @ 8:54am
@Enzojz: if you can take what I did and make something better, please do. No doubt whatever you make will be prettier :)
Enzojz 12 Mar, 2019 @ 8:50am
I just note one thing I observed, since I had the idea to create a roundabout mod in the same approach..anyway what you created is meaningful, this give me a point to pay attention to in my own game.(yes, I started doing something)
SoftwareSimian  [author] 12 Mar, 2019 @ 8:02am
@Enzojz: As noted, this mod is functional, if not pretty. The vanilla game contains plenty of instances of vehicles passing through each other, but you'll see it a lot more here. "Cheating", perhaps, but it definitely improves traffic flow. Much of the time the cars will happily miss each other and it just looks like a wild free-for-all intersection, but there will certainly be times where the magic clipping takes place and things just drive through each other. It's up for debate which is less realistic: cars squeezing through each other or cities having many-lane roads with no traffic control. Although there are certainly examples of that in the real world, e.g. http://youtu.be/SQ3rxwVYs5c
Enzojz 12 Mar, 2019 @ 5:33am
From the video I see cars go through each other...
SoftwareSimian  [author] 11 Mar, 2019 @ 5:17pm
v0.9.1 - 2019-03-11
* improved lane layouts for both crossing and roundabout styles based on observed traffic behavior
Tekhu 11 Mar, 2019 @ 3:16pm
Holy cow someone made it finally
Balik ke Kips 10 Mar, 2019 @ 10:15am
Finally a some sort of TM:PE for Transport Fever, yay!
vitalii201 10 Mar, 2019 @ 7:59am
@SoftwareSimian, thanks, the question "building convenient cul-de-sac" in this game, for me, solved.
SoftwareSimian  [author] 10 Mar, 2019 @ 7:08am
@tommwill: It's natural that when you first replace an intersection the cars/pedestrians will be initially confused because the route they'd planned is no longer available, but after a minute or so they should have figured out the new route is available and use it happily (as shown in the screenshots/videos).

@vitalii201: hey, that's a neat idea, I hadn't thought of that :)
tommwill 10 Mar, 2019 @ 3:27am
Is it just me? every time I replace an intersection with this, everything turns around and avoids it
SoftwareSimian  [author] 9 Mar, 2019 @ 9:30pm
Rendered video showing busy intersection with no pedestrians delaying traffic by crossing the street, they all use the underpasses:
https://youtu.be/6_f74lLRnts
SoftwareSimian  [author] 9 Mar, 2019 @ 9:09pm
@MTA_R68-Fan: tram tracks are already an available option (on the street portion). Logical tram tracks are added to the lanes in the intersection as appropriate based on the selected options. I lack the artistic skill to draw a road surface or tram tracks, hence the last paragraph of the mod description (above). Also, if someone knows how to programmatically draw a street with a bus lane, please let me know.
Pink_91119 9 Mar, 2019 @ 7:29pm
Good, But please add tram tracks or something.
SoftwareSimian  [author] 9 Mar, 2019 @ 12:17pm
@canophone: you can see the Flexible roundabout if you see the intersection mode to "roundabout" instead of "crossing" ;) Also illustrated in one of the screenshots above.
SoftwareSimian  [author] 9 Mar, 2019 @ 12:14pm
@Whyduck: yes, there are no street-level crosswalks, all pedestrians will use the underground walkways.
Yodokus 9 Mar, 2019 @ 11:36am
Great job mate, do pedestrians always use under-ground walkways?
canophone 9 Mar, 2019 @ 11:21am
I can see a flexible roundabout coming now?
Skunk Monkey 9 Mar, 2019 @ 9:44am
Dude, you sir are a freaking genius. I can't play this game anymore without your Flexible series of mods. They are absolutely essential.
SoftwareSimian  [author] 9 Mar, 2019 @ 7:45am
@vitalii201: thanks once again for the translations.
