hi update mod VRMod-Experimental Virtual Reality for vr pico Neo 3

@travis this addon can be ran on the most basic vr ready pc. I recommend trying the x64 version as It aims for stability and ease

I don't know why its so fucking hard to set up vr in gmod. I literally have to get a new computer with the right stuff so this crap works, dig up in the files for something that is conflicting yet it aint even there, looking up tutorials that dont work. and I dont think my ASUS computer will even be able to run that crap. the only way to make this shit work is by getting an very good computer, that will probably cost 4,000 dollars or some other ridiculous price.

How to go in spawn menu?

this is so confusing i followed a tutorial and got this mod then went on the meta app and it showed my desktop in the meta air link app on my quest 2 and then i went on gmod and typed vrmod then saw the menu and it said vr not detected even though i had opened gmod and the menu using air link on my quest 2. Too confusing

i have three trackers, i have assigned them in the steamvr settings yet the option to calibrate the trackers doesnt appear

Hand tracking is supported for at least quest 3 maybe 2 I haven't tried. And through virtual desktop but obviously you can't interact/navigate menus properly without the controllers so bare that in mind.

Full body tracking with quest 2 and 3 should also be supported but haven't tried it. I am considering buying SlimeVR kit to try it out.

Me too I use both. Quest 3 is better cuz it has better resolution/lens etc

The black box issue that occurs on quest 3 with oculus link/ blurry box with virtual desktop around the edges can be fixed by physically moving lenses further away from your face by holding the lens unlocking button on them in your headset then adjusting them which gives you the smaller field of view of the quest 2 on your quest 3, but quest 3 is still better.

Neither of them is buggier or less stable other than that, quest 3 is more immersive due to the above.

I have quest 2 and quest 3, what will work better in stability, immersiveness and bugs.

@dbarone100 from what I know you have to use steam vr either by cable or by air link and handtracking is not supported.

-Game just crashes (most times)

-I did everything what it sayed (Disabled all mods,Disable Vr theater,Enalbed only VR,Uninstaleld all mods,]

@Torny Are you running it through steam vr? Try that instead of a cable if you already are and make sure you have steam link installed onto your headset of choice.

Having exact same issue since i bought my quest 3 at launch I couldn't find any way of fixing it except moving the lenses further away from my eyes physically using the quest 3 adjustments on the headset itself

Does anyone know how to remove the blurry squares that appear at the top, bottom, and sides of the screen? I'm using Meta Quest 3.
I've tried several ways to fix it but so far I haven't been able to solve it (I tried changing the resolution in Gmod and turning post-processing on and off but none of this worked ).
As far as I know, those squares are the FOV because in the SteamVR settings you can make them appear much larger by moving the FOV from 100% to a lower number but SteamVR won't let me set a number higher than 100% to make them disappear.
Is there a way to increase the FOV to a number higher than 100%?

when i start vrmod, and go off the menu, my player starts moving itself, like, i didn't move any of my moving joystick, but when, ok lemme explain, when i try to look forward, my player goes backwards, but when i try to move my joystick, it kinda works, the joystick itself works but still my camera goes backwards, i checked the vrmod menu, nun works, any fix to that??

Gentlemen gamers. Am I the only one VRMOD stopped working? Crashes the game on 64x and on a regular Garry's mod. Even without Addons.

Just realized two weeks after I posted my comment... My bad!

This works perfectly with my quest 2 after disabling these settings and enabling another. Go to steam VR settings, scroll down to the In Game section. at screenshots disable when a screenshot is taken, display a notification and Play a sound. and enable save an external copy of my screenshots. after that it should work just fine :)
