Like I said the idea was to have them roam around a path. Maybe from a miner to a dumpsite. Never figured out the DAS script feature for AP, but it is there.

i actually kinda learned how to use autopilot yesterday.. though this is a truck and not a spaceship so i must ask, how exactly do you want to use the autopilot?

So... Komatsu, Terex, Liebherr, Caterpillar, and now OctoMoose. Honestly, the name fits right in! Great mod!

@Silver I've been toying with the idea a lot, might do a quick jab at it tomorrow. Need to mock up a proto anyway since I really wanna build forestry equipment and those are all articulated. My main issue is making it nicely steerable without a script but I might have to buckle in to bind turning to WASD.

I know it would be kinda Useless but is there *any* chance i could convince you to make a pass at an Articulated Dump truck? They are legit one of my favorite things and i really wanna se one made well in SE.
Good work on all this Regardless, BWE are my favs

Yeah, direct reproductions are great for actual builds (This), but, taht vessal, from what I saw, looked like it would be better if you make one based off of it!

And, @OctoMoose, this truck is tiny! When will you make the one I can see without a microspcope?

<<Gasp!>> Cut the headlights off?! My poor li'l truck! Hehe!
Yeah, it's a bit of an obscure film. Think it went straight to VHS. Not a bad flick if you get bored. Bit cheesy but fun.
I've always fancied having a go at building that truck just to have for myself but doubt I'd publish it. Maybe something vaguely inspired by it but not a direct repro. Don't really want to become known for pop-culture builds - invites too many requests for things I don't want to build! Besides, this is your baby & I''m not one to step on that. :steamhappy:
Keep up the amazing work!

To let you in on the truth I had to clip off the headlights of one lil' truck... please don't tell anyone >_>
But yes it looks like made to order, which is why I wanted to showcase its capacity in a fun way!

That vehicle looks curious... haven't seen the film myself, at least I don't recall doing so. You should totally build something like it! I'll stick to recreating real vehicles since it is my bread and butter :)

"Holding in 5 S.H.A.R.T;s..." Haha! It must be bursting!
Thanks very much for the plug! :steamhappy: Looks like it was made to measure!
I reckon you could get about 9 in there if they were on end... and probably another 3 on the loading guard! I'm gonna find out!

Have you ever seen the 1998 film "Soldier" with Kurt Russell? For some reason I'm looking at this truck & thinking "hmm...."
