Nice mission but there were some bugs with the squad which for some reason wasn't following properly when approaching the encampment. Enjoyed it though.

Nice mission, but a 9-person squad won't fit in the chopper, making it a very long walk to the extraction point.

Liked it - the butcher's bill was high (only 3 left by the end) but it was fun and the exfil was quite difficult across that valley.

At the level of a veteran of your mission impossible. If the mission can not play without saving, this is not war, it's crap. Well, who taught you all to do so ((((

1. Mission: Impossible (veteran).
2. We need a million saving.
3. Blunt behavior of enemy bots offset by inflated skill known and a large number.

I Never left a mission if I do not finish it. Do u know what? Im playing this mission on sundays since two month ago ( Veteran ). I die i quit, my way of playing.

AI is working good enough using TPW/EBS Addons.
Now i have a question: Are there anyway to make it Dynamic? I mean, Choppers at different locations...?

I can either set the patrols to safe or aware. If they are set to safe, they are too dumb and don't react to the player. If they are set to aware, they swarm at the player and make the mission really hard and unfun.

Enemy infantry AI at several locations is pretty dumb, they don't react to shots being fired just 300 meters away from them. A good example is the small house on the hill just north from starting location.

I appreciate the feedback., Spooderman. The BTR was a new addition and is relatively untested. I think the best way to deal with it is the Grey Hawk drone. I'll gather more feedback and consider removing the IFV.

I did not like this mission. The AI was not the problem, the BTR was. With that in play with helis they just could not make it. Could not finish it as you can see.

Challenging, fun, difficult enough to keep you busy with tactics. The team is not that dumb if you max out the AI, though I guess you can't say the same about helicopter pilots supposed to extract you.

Minor critical points [no spoilers].
I think there should be a save trigger when you are getting close to the main objective and the trigger for the other save should have a 15 seconds count down before it kicks in on the conditions so it dosent spoil the "effect". Tried to write this without spoilers so I hope you get what I mean.

i went to the extraction point the second one because it was to hot at lz baldy then raidoed the chopper to drop me off at stratis airport but then the mission didnt end?

Tyrion, there is a mission complete screen. You stand next to the officer at the end for like 8 seconds and the game will end.

Cool mission. Completed the objectives. Camp Rogain got counter attacked and I was able to call in the ghosthawk for a hot extraction. I was able to exfiltrate with half my squad. My only question is... is there no mission completion? I did all the tasks but the mission didnt end.

Maybe for supports you could now add a UAV and give the team a designator... that way it's limiting the splash damage and the amount of missles that can be used? saying that i haven't played around much with using the UAV for CAS so i dont know how it'd work?

Can you describe how the helicopter didn't work? The most common problem with it is that it lands, you board, and then misclick to assign its destination. The support module only allows you to give one destination. This is a problem with Arma 3 that I can't fix. You can call the helicopter an infinite number of times, however. So if you have problems with one, just call another. If all three are destroyed, however, you will need to run back to base.

IMO you should have a huge amount of artillery support if you have a nearby base, even a gunline... also the helicopter is bugged.. couldnt extract

My feeling is that some sort of support is warranted. It doesn't seem logical for a squad to be asked to attack a defended position without some artillery or CAS. I suppose I could reduce the number of allotted mortar strikes. I reduced it from 4 to 3 in the last revision.

really enjoyed this mission. My whole squad got wiped out as e were heading to the extraction lol. I was the only one to make the chopper out. R.I.P Squad. Really nice work :)

Regarding the difficulty it is a subjective matter of course - u might introduce a difficulty setting at the start of future scenarios and some more random stuff like patrols if they are meant to be played more than once.

I left some weapon options in because I felt like players might prefer some choice. If they want to make it easy by using the sniper, it's available to them. I have personally always tried to use a rifle. I will consider adding more patrols. I've found that the mission is fairly difficult, however. Thanks for the feedback.

Or u just shoot the pilot as a result of not following your orders and fly the thing yourself ;-)
Nice mission so far, though in my opinion way to easy regarding all the supports the player has. Furthermore it was quite easy to clear the enemy camp from afar with the sniper rifle available at the start - you might remove this one for balancing reasons. Some random partrols would have been nice too :greenwizard:

When you enter the helicopter, you can re-open the map and select a destination. This can only be inputted once, so if you mess up, you need to call for extraction again. There are three helicopters, but they can be called unlimited times.
