Hello, well this mission has long distances, is more to feel immersed being on the moon, if the gameplay is not fun anymore just jump out of character using "F" i believe and use the flycamera to find it and orientate yourself.

Simply can not find Apollo landsite - I spent hours in the buggy, looked through the binoculars thoroughly, etc. is it far ?

How can I enter the abandoned base, would I have to take anything to generate energy for the base?

It doesn't matter anymore, I solved the problem, apparently it was some problem with the game, I just uninstalled the mod pack and installed it again and booom, it works perfectly now.

Then deactivate all your other mods, and run only with the dedicated one.

Ok. I realized it isn't broken it's just DIY kit ;P I can manage to pull it out and it works fine. I still hear sounds of buggy hitting sth in the cargo bay but it's playable.

I have issue with the cargo falling outside the textures. In the beginning of the mission when I'm landing on the surface buggy and sth else - it's hard to recognize under the textures- falls under the floor. Any ideas what can make that happen?

J'ai finalement réussi à entrer en démontent le mur avec les prise électrique... Vous aviez prévue les choses comme sa? Et mise à part se tout petit boue de mure je ne peut rien démonter d'autre, c'est normal?

Had a lot if initial issues with this title, thinking of doing a little Let's Play of the series as I go through them if that is ok with you? My first Let's Play but I can see this frustrating people so, might as well go for a ride and share my own.

When starting the mission it says "Mission complete" even before the MAV touches ground.
I have only the one neccesary addon activated. I deinstalled it restartet but same result.

I did a test, and what you are saying happens when you dont have the mod pack, when you are in the main menu go to Addons, find OneWay EP1 Mod Mission Pack and click Enable and then try again.

I ma sorry man. i uninstalled all mods i had, restart Steam. lauched TKOM, delete all scenarion ingame. turn off TKMO. downloaded ONLY your EP1 + Mod (380MB) turn on game, lauched scenario - same sh!t :( cant leave elevator on 1st and 4rth floor.
i will check Your EP2 now. but wanted follow timeline..

@UNKAS First try to deactivated all other mods you have in your list and try again, if not either restart the game or when you are in your character jump with camera outside and come back, sounds like an old tkom bug, what you have there.

well i cant leave the Moon Ascent V. :(
after MAV land on the Moons surface and when i enter to the elevator i can only go to 2,3rd floor and leave elevator but 1st floor - CARGO - i cant leave elevator (the OPEN bottons is not active) same if i will go up to 4rth floor (i can see the nice 360deg view but cant open elevator door. WTF?

As I have not seen any checkpoints or triggers how do I leave this first map in the MAV? Just take off and exit map?
How to change scenery and how do I avoid any conflict if I have to have 2 map modpacks at the same time. Or do I just leave and load the next?

I see now, how well planned the mission is and how to use resources.

But I think there should be a truck somewhere, even if it should need fuel to move.

Maybe put a code on the doors of the lander and write it into one of the sticks if possible.

If the build is an option it could also be to either build outpost or get Alpha base online for the next arrival. To print life support, power unit or doors for the airlock.

You are not stuck, you are just overplaying this mission, remember the storyline, the caracter is new to this expierence and your deaths showed the goal of this mission, you learned a lot how to better prepare next time havent you? :)

Dont worry the campaign is long, you will have resources and time to build in other episodes were you will have better technology.

This mission your objectives are to set a camp, mine some rock, get the data, get the printer and take off, the outpost build is optional.

Yes i did build an outpost, a 1 room small one, nothing fancy but again this is optional, its more of an extra survival.

I really want to progress in the campaign storyline but I feel a bit stuck. I spent days dying a lot because I walked too far from the lander without food and water in the medium suit and died of freezing in the fast comming cold night.
Or went onconscious with lack of sleep. Now i'm in the slow heavy suit.

Then I spent a lot of time trying to assemble and power up the base, no luck.
- Is there no way into the Eastmost building? Could be roof or floor... or skip the airlock doors.

I had overlooked the datapad. Found the datasticks. Now I just need fuel to lift-off.
- Please reconsider the truck. Just limit the fuel in it. And hide it behind the Apollo site. It's not easy to find...
You still have to find the second lander, Alpha base and get to Apollo site first.

- Instead of the chair, table, filing cabinet and photocopier - please put in an extra roll of powercords. 5 powercords is too few. And extra MMRTG

Did you build an outpost? Or just put the poptent at the supplydrop?

Thank you for the feedback Iceman, i will finish the campaign this week and after i will make a in depth detail on every episode.

To respond to your suggestions:

- This campaign has a storyline so i will avoid to make the base and lander online because your mission there is to infiltrate the base with little notice, to learn more about 3d printing tech and return to earth, not to settle down on the moon.

- the timescale is like that because you have supplies for a few weeks (campaign timeline) to survive longer is for the hardcore :) but it is possible

- indeed i was thinking of truck and will look in to this, the forklift is really slow but in my tests i did manage to transport all cargo from the base to the supplydrops in 1 go and make a small base.

Nice work, I enjoy it, but please consider this
* a transporter truck at Alpha base. (I spent in-game days getting pallet lifter at Apollo site, to move harvesters/power, closer to the base from supply drop but its moving so slow i gave up)
* ability to seal of the base and get it online again.(lifesupport, opening doors, growing food)
* timescale 1:1 (1:12 burns food resources so fast)
* if not base online then make second lander module available to use

hehe, indeed it is a nice mod but sadly is incompatibility with most mods, i tried to integrate it but dont worry you will research alternatives :)

Found it. Resource Cables (Main Branch) was causing my CTD. Damn it! Back to trudging around shuffling barrels. :steamfacepalm:

Yes np, and another reminder, in the campaign the mods appear in episodes in their mod pack as you progress as "new research" so check the list in the description to no ruin the actual flow of the campaign and see compatibility if you are to use extra mods.

Okay. I subscribed to both mission and mission packs for EP1 but I do have a load of other mods installed. I will try what you suggest and disable them all, except yours of course. It may take a while.

hi, well make sure that you use the mod dedicated to this episode: OneWay EP1 Mod Mission Pack, all episodes have their dedicated mod, addon and its not recommended to use other mods because there is a high chance of incompatibility and might crash.

I would like to try out this series, but the game does an instant CTD, with no hint as to what the problem is if I subscribe to any of the episodes. Any insight to what could be happening would be greatly appreciated.
