They aren't actual follow ropes so that you can tie people up with?
Hidalgo 8 Feb, 2024 @ 4:46am
Requieres import? is craftable? any incompability? add something more than the item? (eg animation...etc) This mod looks very good but the description is a bit vague.
blot  [author] 8 Sep, 2023 @ 6:24am
The ropes are not intented to disable npcs fighting.
badmonkey0001 16 Aug, 2023 @ 12:40pm
If people still fight, it seems like it should reduce both martial arts and melee attack to near zero as well.
seshperankh 11 May, 2023 @ 1:07am
People still try to fight with the rope on. He wasn't slow

This mod is perfect for playing as a bounty hunter. I love it.

Small question.

jettn77 4 Feb, 2022 @ 7:59am

Thanks!

They are already. Leather armour crafting bench and blueprints at slave shops.
TheyCallMeVincenzo 3 Apr, 2020 @ 7:09pm
Can you make this have a tech so you can craft it from the clothing bench or something?
[PIGZ]MrTango 11 Jan, 2020 @ 3:55pm
\o/ yay, subscribing! (I have a recruit all mod to simulate slavery, but needed something to roleplay the restraints, to feel less cheaty having recruited them into the party).
blot  [author] 11 Jan, 2020 @ 3:40pm
Nope.
[PIGZ]MrTango 11 Jan, 2020 @ 3:36pm
Does the rope cause a unit to have slave status like putting shackles on them does?
blot  [author] 11 Dec, 2019 @ 2:56am
@Kimm No I don't mind, knock yourself out.
Kimm 10 Dec, 2019 @ 5:00pm
Hello. Would you mind if I use this mod in some of my personal work? If it will go anywhere, I'll post appropriate credits, of course.
blot  [author] 9 Nov, 2019 @ 12:05am
Leather armour crafting bench.
Isaac Hipkiss 8 Nov, 2019 @ 5:47pm
what bench do i craft them at?
douglas.nomsn 8 Nov, 2019 @ 1:54pm
Thank you so much for your understanding and help.
blot  [author] 8 Nov, 2019 @ 4:54am
You will find rope to the east in the desert or south of the swamp, specifically United Cities territory.
douglas.nomsn 7 Nov, 2019 @ 6:16pm
Is that in the shek kingdom where I walk a lot and hub I found none. But I am grateful to respond.
blot  [author] 6 Nov, 2019 @ 11:41pm
No, it's not hard to find.
douglas.nomsn 6 Nov, 2019 @ 8:55pm
Hard to find in the game ... can it be sold in every city?
blot  [author] 28 Apr, 2019 @ 9:55am
Yes, check your local slave trader for blueprints.
dominicslivers 28 Apr, 2019 @ 8:37am
can you craft these?
A Slothful Sloth 13 Apr, 2019 @ 2:45am
@bane882266 There's a more accurate way to know the name of a shop, you just click on the building, it will display its full name, as sometimes symbols can be deceiving.

The scales for instance can advertise either a general shop, or an animal shop.
Altumnus 12 Apr, 2019 @ 11:45am
@bane882266: Slave shops have an icon of a head with a slave collar around its neck.
Bane882266 12 Apr, 2019 @ 7:54am
A little more exact please whats a "Slave shops" What symbol hangs outside?
MC24hc 12 Apr, 2019 @ 3:41am
I actually found blueprints in the slave shops where they sell items stolen from the slaves.
Great mod.
blot  [author] 12 Apr, 2019 @ 3:04am
Slave shops.
Bane882266 12 Apr, 2019 @ 2:50am
Where in the UC towns?
blot  [author] 12 Apr, 2019 @ 1:24am
@bane882266
There's a slave trader in every UC town, and there's a lot of slaver camps scattered around.
Bane882266 12 Apr, 2019 @ 12:35am
Just can't find it. Can it be made craftable with a few pieces of cloth at...Tier 3? Please?
A Slothful Sloth 27 Mar, 2019 @ 2:44pm
@ Adamanix

I get that people want to have the option to do it, and I wouldn't mind it if it was implemented really, but the way Kenshi handles fights, the way you survive them (or not) actually influences your gameplay a lot.

It gives more emphasis on the situations when you want to be cruel. For instance, I had a very rough playthrough once, my Rock Bottom char just kept getting enslaved by manhunters. I got so annoyed that I started abducting slavers, and making sure they lost their arms and legs before feeding them to beak things (shame you can't sell them as slaves btw).
In any other game, I would just have killed them, and it wouldn't have felt any different than killing all the other NPCs. In Kenshi, you have to go out of your way to be cruel, and it feels so much more rewarding then.
Adamanix 27 Mar, 2019 @ 10:22am
@ A Slothful Sloth. Yeah. I won't disagree with you. I can accept that. I was "just saying", for lack of a better term.

However, if I do have a guy that can act like Ryu Hyabusa... It'd be pretty sweet to have the option to murder people instead of just knocking them out.

Adamanix 26 Mar @ 2:35pm
I mean... The skill is called assassination... It should kill people. If you have a character that is cool enough to stealth a group, get in, and successfully assassinate another character... They should die. The skill isn't called "Mike Tyson's KO Hands".

Just my thought.

Well, in my opinion Kenshi does have a point in forbidding you from killing people outright.
Enemies are attacking you to get something. If they're hungry bandits, they want your food, they don't care about you. As long as you're incapacitated, they get what they're after.
but if they're cannibals, they're gonna eat you.
You may attack enemies to get loot, protect yourself, or just increase your skills. You don't need to kill them to do that. Its often better to keep them alive, to collect a bounty or to sell them. Life is a ressource that can't be wasted in this world.

Its just logical when you think about it really.

Wish slavers got rope too..and tied their slaves so they dont run away because the slavers will be holding onto the rope and feel it tug away.
Warwick🐺 23 Mar, 2019 @ 7:32pm
Maybe give a debuff to attack and defence? So they cant fight back?
I like the idea of this mod. I been thinking about this for a long time. Pretty immersive breaking and silly to fight the same enemies like 3 times because they keep getting up (yeah i guess i could download that one mod to execute people, but it seems it'll be broken/op when you max stealth and KO everyone and then remove their heart...you could legit solo kill an entire city like that lol)

With this ROPE mod, i can tie people up, place them down and continue to fight without worrying they'll get up and attack me. I love it
Fitzkrieg 23 Mar, 2019 @ 12:02pm
Excellent idea, I'd say to craft would be like 3 fabric 1 leather
A Slothful Sloth 22 Mar, 2019 @ 2:58pm
Great idea, though it has limited use if it doesn't add a job for your prisonners to follow you on their own. Might be a nice addition to the mod, my wandering two swordmasters could actually have a bunch more prisonners at the same time this way.
Terendelev 22 Mar, 2019 @ 12:52am
We gon' tie them girls down real gud' now won't we, bubba. ;)
MC24hc 21 Mar, 2019 @ 9:17pm
Thanks so much for making this mod :)
blot  [author] 21 Mar, 2019 @ 10:23am
@Arkhiel - Thank you, wasn't my idea though :)
blot  [author] 21 Mar, 2019 @ 10:22am
Nope, only for purchase at the moment.
