No, saved items can't be loaded on the Official realm.
[SaveWeapon][ERROR] Previous session's equipped item ID is invalid (wh_zealot: a long alphanumeric code)
This mod is NOT sanctioned. Since it can be used to cheat items into your inventory, it never will be.
Oh, and there's also the chat commants (see the mod description on this page) though they're pretty clunky to use, especially if you want to remove a lot of items. Just bind the 'delete item' hotkey, it's the simplest.
The mod supports setting a hotkey for deleting a modded item by hovering it in the inventory view and pressing the key. (It won't work on "legit" items, don't worry.)
If you go to the in-game mod options (press F4 to open VMF), then find the settings for this mod, you can set the keybind there.
Another way is to find the "user_settings.config" file (on Windows, can be found in "C:/Users/YourNameHere/AppData/Roaming/Fatshark/Vermintide 2" by default).
You can open this file in a text editor and edit/remove the saved mod data manually. Search/ctrl+F for "saved_items" until you find a list of a bunch of items with their traits.
I'd recommend making a backup of the file if you're not already comfortable with editing stuff like this. (Don't do it while the game is running, or the game will overwrite your changes.)
There's no problem with switching back to official realm. If you had a modded item equipped when exiting the game, going back to official you'll just get a basic 5-power item equipped on game start.
I have a problem using this mod, every time I open vermintide with the mod enabled it gets immediately disables it. This makes it so I can't ever save any weapon because the mod is eternally disabled. Does anyone have any idea why this has happened?
I tried looking into it and I'm unable to reproduce the crash. Changing rarity works for me (though the visual bug with invisible drop-downs in the VMF mod menu is still there).
Can you describe to me exactly what you're doing to make the game crash? Also, if possible, what error message it gives you afterwards?
I looked into it, it seems to be a problem with Vermintide Mod Framework since the game update. Dropdowns and sliders in the mod menu are broken for all mods at the moment.
It still sort of works, the dropdown is just invisible. If you click the option once, you can still change the rarity setting by then clicking somewhere below it, though you won't see what you're changing it to.
I recorded a quick clip of it: https://streamable.com/d6qek2
The crash seems to be with the GiveWeapon mod. It seems like the update broke something there.
I've passed on a message to that mod's author about the crash.
As far as I can tell, this mod (SaveWeapon) is still working properly. GiveWeapon creates the items, this mod just lets you keep those items on the modded realm after closing the game.
Thank you for notifying me. I've updated the mod and the bug should be fixed now.
Version 1.2
- Added functionality to delete items by hovering them and pressing an assigned keybind
- Added hotkey functionality to undo item deletion (same as "/sw_undo", but this one only works while in the inventory screen
- Fixed the auto-equipping of previous session's equipped mod
- Added a mod menu setting to toggle the auto-equipping functionality on or off
For the most part, at least. This mod used to be able to keep track of previously equipped modded items and re-equip them after you restarted the game, but this part of the mod is currently broken. Slightly inconvenient. I'll see if I can't fix it, but I'm not in a rush.
Because of some changes in the last patch, there's currently a problem with More Items Library, a mod which both this mod and Give Weapon use to create equipment. Until More Items Library is fixed, this mod and Give Weapon are not going to work.
Quick note to explain what I mean by "item names" in this mod...
When you create an item with GiveWeapon, it will be given a unique ID. This ID is the code name of the item type ("wh_crossbow" for Saltz' crossbow, for example) followed by some random numbers. (In this case, your crossbow's "name" might be "wh_crossbow_123456".)
Weapons have a prefix (notice "wh_" at the start in the crossbow example) to denote which hero they belong to. These prefixes are carried over from their hero titles in the first game.
Kruber is "es_" (Empire Soldier)
Bardin is "dr_" (Dwarf Ranger)
Kerillian is "we_" (She's called Waywatcher there, but I guess this stands for Wood Elf)
Saltzpyre is "wh_" (Witch Hunter) (note: Flail is prefixed with "es_" for some reason)
Sienna is "bw_" (Bright Wizard)
Also, Charms are called "ring_05" for some reason. Trinket is "trinket", and necklace is "necklace".
You must put a " / " before the command. Like so: "/sw_delete_something". When you start typing, you should start seeing a list of names in the chat box, and you can press Tab to switch between them. It will show the traits/properties of the highlighted item.
Note that items use their code names (crowbill is "bw_1h_crowbill", for example).

how to use command ?i cant delete my items
No problem, glad you could get it working.
Did you try using the mod on the Official realm? This mod is not sanctioned, so you can't play on Official realm with it. Any items you create can only be used on Modded realm.
"and suddenly i cant use this mod" - Were you able to use it before, but it stopped working? Or were you never able to get it to work in the first place?
You need to make sure all the required mods are higher up in the mod list in the launcher so that they load before this mod, otherwise you will get errors.
A few things have changed under the hood, but nothing too exciting in terms of usability.
The one new thing is that the chat commands to delete items will delete them from your inventory now, as well as from the safe file which they did previously.
Created items should now stay equipped next time the game is launched, so you won't be loading up the game with a bunch of default power 5 items any more.
With this, the planned functionality for the mod is basically done.
However, I'll be keeping it in beta for a little bit longer to ensure it runs stably.
If anything goes wrong, please leave a message somewhere around here or message me on Discord (Zeropathic#5683).
Previously it only worked for loaded items, not items created during the current session. If you were using Loadout Manager with saved items, today's update will have removed the saved items from your loadouts. Apologies for that.
The next planned feature is to have the mod keep created items equipped when you restart the game. When that's finished and the mod has been tested enough to ensure it's stable, it will finally be time to exit beta.
