Hello, any thoughts on a 1.6 update?
Creedmoor 15 May @ 6:18am
im curious, is there a mod that exists that allows colonists to craft items from inventory?
LZIM 25 Feb @ 5:42pm
qol that needs to be vanilla except its understood that use from inventory still means pawns remove items from inventory to start building otherwise they would be delivering to blueprints as with puah no ?

also puah if it included dropping off to blueprints except how would you prioritise which blueprints get randomly filled with materials from a given opportunitistic pawns inventory..
MasonNasty 11 Feb @ 5:54am
You man awesome mod. Have a better day knowing you made super awesome mod for niche purpose. Now my constructor can simple hold components in their inventory instead of constantly running back and forth.

You rock!
Uuugggg  [author] 2 Feb @ 11:41am
Uh no, Pick Up and Haul only works for Hauling, like, to storage, not for any job's needed items.
Parciwel 2 Feb @ 7:42am
@stupid there is a mod that does that. It's called "pick up and haul".
Idk how it does it, but it works
Uuugggg  [author] 12 Jan @ 12:55pm
That would take quite a large overhaul of the entirely of RimWorld's job system so nope not yet.

I have a question. Is there a way to make pawns gather materials to their inventory when delivering / building rather than their hands?
Uuugggg  [author] 27 Sep, 2024 @ 10:54am
What issue.

arof described what the mod actually does.

I don't respond to people who don't read the mod description and don't get what the mod even does.
Protok 25 Jun, 2024 @ 6:52am
I feel warm when see somebody care my caravan needs. :starvanguard:

I ask you to include the same algorithm for searching resources for production on workbench. So that pawns can take ingredients/materials for work from the pack animal’s inventory too.

Thank you

will you be able to make this compatible for at home base stockpiles to use stored buildings?
Uuugggg  [author] 31 Jan, 2024 @ 4:21pm
👍
arof 31 Jan, 2024 @ 3:04pm
Having previously dug around in the code on this one for a temporary 1.4 update, I believe it doesn't add a step to the logic to force a pawn to load things into their inventory to deliver, it only checks their current manually held inventory for items and forces them to drop it if they have it to bring to a deliver task. It's more designed to help when you're caravaning than improve the deliver process in base. If you have a big task that needs delivery and pawns with huge carry capacity due to mods, manually loading them up should speed up the process.

I don't have the issue with floor tasks in my modlist, so order may make a difference on that.
LunaW0lve 31 Jan, 2024 @ 12:13pm
Same issue as the others describe, pawns don't seem to want to take more materials into their inventory after 1.4 to work with, only bringing a couple at a time instead.
Dzik 17 Jan, 2024 @ 4:26am
This mod doesn't seem to work; pawns aren't taking any additional resources with them, and they wear backpacks (which extends their capacity to over 100kg). Also, when building floors over other floors they carry resources for 1 tile at time, like @googooman mentioned. I do have other popular hauling/pathing mods installed though, so maybe there's a conflict.
googooman 6 Jan, 2024 @ 4:39am
mod有问题,铺木地板的时候小人会一趟只拿一根木头,来来回回跑,鬼畜了。卸载mod后就好了。There is a problem with the mod. When laying wooden flooring, the little person will only take one piece of wood at a time and run back and forth, which is a mischievous beast. After uninstalling the mod, it's ready.

Same issue as @KitsuneKas

Pockets?
lol 15 Nov, 2022 @ 1:02pm
On tribal naked start my pawn keeps seeds in pockets to not lose them to deterioration lol
Uuugggg  [author] 15 Nov, 2022 @ 10:57am
heh what ingredients are you holding that you need at a worktable/stove/etc
lol 15 Nov, 2022 @ 10:54am
Is there something like this, but from ingredients? "Use ingredients for recipes from inventory"?
KitsuneKas 26 Oct, 2022 @ 7:20pm
There seems to be an issue with this mod currently post 1.4. I was having issues with colonists only hauling a few materials at a time, making construction laboriously slow, since every wall for example was hauled and built one section at a time.

Dev mode stack trace showed the error was coming from this mod. I have a hugslib log I can post somewhere, dunno if you want it here, on github, or sent privately. I forgot to copy the stack trace error before restarting without the mod to confirm it was the mod (problem went away after unloading this mod), but I can probably reproduce the error if you need the stack trace.

I blame you, and a few other mod creators, for not being able to play this game in a week. I keep seeing more and more great mods that I want to give a try. It's like a strange pleasant form of torture.

You in particular, make some very useful mods that I don't think I could play this game without now. Thanks for your time and effort. Maybe you should think about setting up a way to take donations.
NovaSnake 5 Dec, 2021 @ 12:00am
Out of curiosity, is it possible to have pawns build from minified objects without specifically clicking on said object and telling them to install it?
Noodle 4 Sep, 2021 @ 4:33pm
Nice Updates, Thanks Uuugggg :)
Now onto Smart Medicine maybe? 0.0
Hans 4 Sep, 2021 @ 3:34pm
Would be cool, if the pawn check how much he need and put that much (To the max carrying capacity ) in the inventory, the rest in hands and build the building or whatever.
Uuugggg  [author] 4 Sep, 2021 @ 3:26pm
And there's the 1.3
