@IamSagattare would you happen to have an ETA for when you're redoing the mod? or at least know if it can still work with 3.0. grand admiral setting is now absolute hades when paired with nsc2's resource bonuses they added for AI empires

so i just got all the main dlc and necroid spices pack and its not working any more it was when i just had apoc and utopia. not sure if its necroids that making this incompatible

I've confirmed that partway through the game, the AI can reform their government and pick these. They won't start with them, but more than once an AI has grabbed one midway through the game. Something to keep in mind if the workshop ever lets you fix it.

The mod doesn't seem to be working right now, none of the traits show up and i've verified that it is activated.

As of right now, I don't think so. I might redo this mod and upload with a new and more modular format soon (tm), when I have time. Steam workshop still isn't allowing me to update this mod and a few others I've uploaded, so it'll require a new mod page.

Some AI will pick the trait up as the game continued. I'd wish you made another version with no trait but still contain the rest of the feature.

They shouldn't, but I haven't been able to verify that since steam workshop/paradox launcher interections have locked my out of using and/or making changes to this mod for a while.

You need a seperate mod that adds extra ascension perk slots to the UI. Technically the technologies do unlock more ascension perk slots, it's just that the UI doesn't display them.

I've played with this mod for numerous hours within the game. I only just learned that it includes tech that adds additional Ascension perk slots. Pray tell, how do you unlock these additional slots?

I'll think about it, not sure how I'd implement that without removing negative traits as a whole and without a performance penalty (e.g. monthly checks for removing them from leaders).

maybe a suggestion to add, I use "philospher king" trait, to lower the chance of getting negative traits, but i still get them, as a "godly" species I shouldn't get them at all, any chance of adding such an addition?

If you want, you can override the civic points change with another mod (I have a mod that changes base civic points to 3 for example), or you can edit the mod files to change the base civic points back to 2. It's in common/defines/00_more_points.txt.

I have a question, when you have a goldy species trait and you get the ascension perk to become a Synthetic speacie you loose the traits and cannot get the Machina trait. Do you have a mean to get a equivalent trait ?

Megebuilders does have the master engineers requirements and can't be used together with the one that gives a shitload of admin cap.

Ok, then there is a glitch where only hiveminds can get the megabuilders ascension perk. Either that or my mods are in conflict.

yes, i think Utopia is the one that adds all the megastructures and ascension perks. Don't quite remember though.

Paradox launcher/Steam workshop combination can get very glitchy, reinstalling a few of times doesn't always help. I'll have a look though.

I reinstalled it a couple of times but the traits wont show up anymore. Havent added or removed any other mods.(Hardly use any)
