Fair point, but that would require you to obtain the research, enough chemfuel, enough steel and components, and still be able to fend off the raids when you get there?

ConfectionaryCanine83, you can use pod launchers or otherwise get partly lucky and robust, so yes

So the world is ending, and you're caught in the middle? Great, but is it even statistically possible to get off the planet? So in short, ignoring prep time, is it even possible to cross the planet in 45 days?
