You could try the dropbox link and play about with it. Someone a few comments down mentioned something, so you could try that and see if it works, but I don't know myself as I have not tried it.

If I ever start up the SE and decide I want my Madoka music back tho I will try figure it out....

Any chance of this being ported to SE/AE on nexus?

Can’t believe I didn’t say this back when I downloaded the mod 6 years ago, but this is, by far, the BEST soundtrack replacement mod on the entire workshop.

Hey all, I have an easy solution to the SE port! If you download the .bsa files from Mari's dropbox, and Bethesda Archive Extractor (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/974) from Nexus, you can extract all the .xwm files into a new zipped folder, place that folder in your SSE folder that contains your other mods, then use 'add mod from file' on Vortex (or whatever mod manager you use) to add the zipped folder.
I spent far too long figuring this out today, but its a necessity for my magical girl play
through! I hope this helps!

Also I just uploaded the .xwm files to Google Drive (https://drive.google.com/open?id=1_SbNyqx_fawRsHMogYv90_wzByMlT1bb) as I wrote this, which means you should be able to download the file and place it straight to your SSE mod folder, skipping the BAE download!

@Mari Christmas I tried to convert it myself, but it didn't really work right

Someone said they converted it in a comment a few years ago do you could try that? I don't have the original files so I can't do it myself and probably wouldn't for the life of me remember how to but if anyone can do it feel free to do so!

Good mod

Pros: Doesn't have start/stop issues, each track fits the environment, reminds you of your favorite scenes from Puella Magi Madoka Magica.

Cons: Reminds you of the worst scenes from Puella Magi Madoka Magica, makes you cry

Madoka is one of my favorite anime, and this makes Skyrim so much more enjoyable!

Also needed a bsa-extractor-tool from nexus, works just like an unzipper.

After hundreds of hours this music and Skyrim are fused together in my head so after upgrading to SSE I had to convert this mod using this tutorial->

Needs Nexus Mod Manager and Bethesda's Creation Kit though for which you need accounts.

You can find guides for converting mods to SE pretty easily, Akaya. I was in much the same position, and I was able to get the mod working for myself on SE in under an hour just by following a conversion guide from google. Obviously own experience may vary.

I love this Mod. Better than the original soundtrack. Only thing holding me back from playing the special edition is, that this mod is missing there. I just can't play without it :3

To that guy who said so, if you would like to send me the edit you made that works with the Enhanced Edition then feel free to do so! Don't really have time to do it myself right now.

I cannot imagine playing Skyrim without this mod.

I did a quick and dirty edit of this mod for Skyrim Special Edition for personal use (don't bother asking me to give it to folks, not gonna do that), but if Mod Author wants me to send it to her/him/other preferred pronoun for distribution then contact me and I'll send it Mod author's way. I'm not gonna upload it myself to anywhere for public consumption even if permission was given simply because I don't know enough about modding to be able to give any type of support to the file.

Not any time soon, sorry. Maybe in the future.

Its funny that i did the very same thing, even replacing the same song, althought i like my version more (Symphosium Magarum for dragon fights, and some uphearted songs for towns and day exploration, and downheart ones for night,caves and dungeon exploration, also i used Theater of a Witch for battle) your version is awesome, and i replaced only 40 songs by now, can't find any good song to replace skyrim ones

Man, I want all that fanart in the third video, especially that very last one. It's pretty amazing how well the Madoka ost seems to fit Skyrim.

We believe in you Dunae, you've made an great mod and you can do it again.

It works but it won't replace any music in the DLC, so you'll hear both the built-in music and music in this mod.

I'll make a seperate mod for the DLC eventually.
