No, I can actually transport cargo with my triples with cargo models visible.

A friend of mine has the same issue but not just with this mod. He can't select any trailer that is listed as a double or HCT. Even non modded trailers do not work for him anymore. It's not an issue caused by the mod and you could avoid the error by changing the trailer definition in the savegame to the definition of a single trailer.

It broke my ETS2. I cannot play the game without this mod enabled and I cannot select the games default HCT

If you are in TruckersMP, the easiest thing to do is to press tap to open the player list and then go into the job dispatcher at the bottom of it. There you could set up a job for your current trailer. The alternative would be to change your trailers definition by save-editing. If you do not know how to edit your savegame, I recomment the first solution.

By save-editing. Since it is too hard to explain it with text, I recomment watching some videos on Youtube about save editing. In TruckersMP for ETS2 the longest trailer combination is 3 trailers, but in TruckersMP for ATS the longest combination is 5 trailers. So, you could actually drive around with your 5 trailers in TruckersMP
