If you mean how to change the stats I have a mod for that, if you're wanting to customize the stats yourself then you the kenshi fcs (forgotten construction set) and go to the armor tab after making a "new mod" then select the armored rags and change the settings there. that would then be the "blunt resistance" and the "cut resistance" Assuming I understand you correctly thats how its done.

I don't think you can in vanilla, so you have to hope you find a masterwork grade one by knocking out some empire guards.

they are getting buffed because you got 85% and now your getting 95%, same with the attack, you are only losing 5 attack instead of 8. Hope this helps :)

Kinda confused when its saying "-5 from -8" or "95% from 85%"
Is it being nerfed or buffed? such as changing the armour of the Arms to 95% instead of the 85% you usually get.
