I suppose the "wiped out" makes sense because it's empty now. The annoying for me is I can't seem to see it on map when I get the message.

also i keep getting "loot nest destroyed" messages popping up. seems like its alerting me that im near a loot nest which i would like to turn off if possible

I'll check, i haven't updated in awhile and I'm just messing with Kenshi again after a break. Trying to use existing loot tables as much as i can.

Some areas are spawning loot nests with no items in them for me. For example the deadlands. Is it normal to be able to have them spawn with zero items when it's mod load order? I would think that would just stop the spawning entirely. Would it be some other reason? Kinda confused why it's happening but in the end it just makes the loot more special when it's actually there since I have 4x nests.

I haven't found any yet but I've gotten messages that loot nests are being destroyed. Do nests respawn as time passes?

This is an neatlittle mod.^^b

You find the most random loot if you are lucky enough to find one of those loot nests, ranging from skin suits for skelletons to slave shackles (which actually turn you into a slave if you try to pick them up^^°).

I downloaded this mod along with a bunch of others and was told to make sure this one is near the bottom. Unfortunately, I can't find the name of the mod in my list. Is it named something in the mods.list file that's different from Random World Loot?

Updated:
1. Some areas now have better/worse loot depending on difficulty of the biome...
2. Race, Backpack, and other QOL testing changes now in my own mod.

You will receive "nest" messages, that is part of the vanilla system. I'm not sure if I can disable that.

And to Zamio: I will probably make a standalone version without the combined features that are helping me balance it, once i get a pass on all biomes. Obviously Skeletons can get to be a bit OP with all slots unlocked. The backpack change was due to the massive increase in loot the player gets. and in some ways large backpacks are worse, because they make running harder....they just don't hurt combat as much.

Is there a version of the mod without the additional changes? It sounds good but I don't want more random Skeletons, backpack changes or more equip slots.

I think its a load order thing, I just moved my mod to a different folder, subscribed, then started a new game with 4x nests, and found several right around Hub. Now I am playing with max graphic settings, so that may do something. But I suspect if loaded last they should appear. Thanks for posting and letting me know!

Thanks, Ill see if i can figure out why it might not be working. The main files it alters to make the loot nests show up are the biomes, and it adds the loot nest itself.

@bus Driver I started a new play through last night and played for around five hours. I went around to I'd say a dozen ruins and ran through about half of the biomes. from the border zone, to watchers rim, to the bonefields and the Outlands I never once came stumbled upon any random lamp posts/smoke plumes. Now I do have about 20-30 other mods installed so it may be due to that, however I don't have any clue as to what might be overlapping. Also just to put this out there, none of the equipment slots for the hivers seemed to be opened. still couldn't equip shoes if that's what that part of the mod was trying to fix. Hope this mini report helps in any way!

As a mod note: I am finding more loot in many harder areas due to the increased number of "nests" that spawn. I'm curious if anyone else notices a trend like this.
