It removes overhead mountains. I don't know how that's hard to understand.

This currently DOES work for 1.1 (I'm using it.)

HOWEVER: they randomly stop and start the job or only do it for a few seconds and its not generating chunks. (More of a bonus than an issue I guess but I need chunks for production.)

Thin rock roof can be removed by marking the area as no roof

This mod is great.
But it takes too long.
Please add an option so that the rock roof can be removed in one operation.

I wish it had a Mod setting that controlled the number of chunks it returns. I'm drowning in chunks. Some folks would probably like to be able to change the time it takes.

thats so true about needing to make backups (i do that every time i do a batch of updates on steam for any mod) :)

So.. tried this out to remove mountains...
It takes TWO full days to change a 3x3 square around the miner
from overhead mountain to thin rock roof, gives 62 chunks and
costs 400 steel, 50 plasteel and 20 components.
This is ridiculous.

Solution:
subscribe on workshop
make local with mod manager
unsubscribe from workshop
works for the next ten years (the game won't get any updates anymore anyways so it won't break)

Plus, if you _really_ care for your game and saved games,
you make backups of (your localized) mods and savedgames

yeah i noticed another mod I used by LoonyLadle also vanished the Lulu's Cybernetics one for using Vanilla Cyberware on animals. It messed up my save big time when it vanished.
