When hovering over loanswords in custom battle it darkens the screen, any reason why?

You should probably give the Oda a superior buff to the shimazu variant, Oda ashigaru are always superior, e.g. Oda matchlock ashigaru> Otomo matchlock ashigaru, Oda Bow ashigaru> Chosokabe bow ashigaru. Just saying cuz thats the trend ;P

I've always anted to be able to use loan sord ashigaru.
However, it kind of bugs me that the stats were tweaked down.
Pretty awesome mod nonetheless.

this is good mod, except the castle window pop up in bugged way when u hove ur mouse over and blocked the castle repair button (u can click R to repair)

hope someone could take over this mod and get it fixed.(looks like original creater arent updating anymore)

I made a version of this mod with recruitable faction stat specifc katana ashigaru and i figured out the fix for the hud bugging out when you mouse over your castletown(You have to open local_en instead of data in the pfm and get the units.loc file and add your units to it, it works perfectly with darthmod. unfortunantly i have no idea how to post mods on steam

Good mod but it makes a stroghold display its stats wrong, and it doesnt seem to work right with darthmod the units are small and expencive.

There is much debate over such things, especially regarding the ikko ikki...who technically werent really a full faction, but a movement. Update to all, I will get to tuning these old mods in time. Time has been an issue, and I spent a lot of modding time attempting to mod/fix rome 2. I am also currently building a new, massive game, and this takes most of my time. Sorry about that, I will come back to this soon though.

Yes, but it's Total War, not reality. Total war uses the reality for making an "universe", it's not a simulation of the history.

the only problem with is mod is the reason historically why the Iko Ikii could recruit this unit was because they expelled the samurai culture from their clan. In all other clans it was considered disrespectful for a peseant to hold let alone use a katana in battle. so in reality the ikos are really the only clan that should recive this unit :/

Because this ashigarus doesn't have the bonus when you take the Oda.

they use inferior swords than samarai, but some did use captured katanas giving to the name loan sword

well I am having some issues with my base game...apparently in the tech tree the aizu do not sahow sharpshooters as recruitable and do show the azure dragon force. I did a full clean and reinstall without any mods and still shows it, so I am trying to figure unit issues out before I optimize these mods.

Normally there is a background in the shape of a rectangle around the settlement description, however instead that no longer exists (Meaning there's only text) and some of the text for things like repression amount and food taken is gone. As mentioned this temporarily freezes the game until you clivk elsewhere.

I do know there is a bug with no in battle information since I still need to update unit.txt and a few other files, and information in campaign hovering over the icon, though there should not be a problem in the general settlement information screen. I am kind of confused by your description

Good mod, I like having loan-swords but their is a bug and a visual annoyance.
-First the bug is that when you hover over your settlement (Fort, Stronghold, etc) it doesn't correctly show you the upper left hand information for that settlement. While that unloaded information is there you cannot do anything and you have to click elsewhere to remove it before you can do anything.
-The visual annoyance is the lack of the words Loan-Sword ahigaru anywhere. Not when recruiting, not when in battle, and not in stacks, just a blank space. Not bad, just kinda annoys me.

I will take a look! you can try, and if doesn't work, let me know. I will see what his mod entails.

Compatible with Darth Mod? if so then this mod is going as one of my Default favorit mods cause i have wanted Darth to do this forevor but he never did so Kudos if it works :)
