Spartan 9 Nov, 2022 @ 6:04pm
version with no ammo needed?
Cyitain 3 May, 2020 @ 9:22pm
smoke is released in short puff with large time gaps (too large for a continues stream of smoke)

This mod is amazing. I use it for almost every rocket launch. If or when this is up and working again it will be wonderful. :selike:

Rover075 7 Mar, 2020 @ 6:50am
please make these large grid thanks
Radler15 9 Dec, 2019 @ 5:04am
I need a bit less intense particles to simulate an tank engine.
Radler15 9 Dec, 2019 @ 5:01am
I would love to be able to configure the amount of particles per "SHOT" myself. Hopefully such feature gets added :D

Hi, great mod, thank you! Would you consider making a block like this please, for tanks -

honestly i would also like a smokestack ver of this

@Clockwork168. This mod makes good looking smoke but because the fps drop from stationary smoke particles, can you make smoke emitters for custom smoke stacks? I don't know how to make mods but I could imagine that making the particles shoot out fast and not expand after sometime in the air would make it work like I want.

And also if you are considering to make something like this, make it so that the chimney can be customized to any size and shape :)

i will use this to fix the "no smoke bug" on Missile Guidance Block :)

Excellent mod, still working great. Would it be possible to have a large grid variant as this would be useful for a rocket trail when taking off to create a more realistic appearance? :steamhappy:

Chemtrails! Chemtrails everywhere! Even in game ;)
The Erubian Warlord 5 Apr, 2019 @ 2:29am
you could use this as a smokescreen against enemy players
Clockwork168  [author] 4 Apr, 2019 @ 10:30am
It's not a problem if you only do it for a second or two, it's just because the game suffers fps slowdowns if too many particles are in the same spot.
The clouds do spread out a fair bit, so it might work as a smokescreen heh

Still not had a chance to use this. Can I ask what the issue is with firing this whilst stationary? I'm looking for a 'smoke grenade dispenser' type effect for a tank smoke screen. Would this do that do you think? Thanks in advance. :)

Commenting to keep track of MP issue. I want to see this on a server I play. Also wtb version that doesn't require manual loading.
Clockwork168  [author] 3 Apr, 2019 @ 2:16pm
Damn, really Asimo? I'll look into it, but as there's no scripting or anything funky like that going on, it may just be yet another limitation of Keen's particle system...
ASIM0 3 Apr, 2019 @ 1:05pm
Doesn't work in MP, confirmed !
Zacknetic 3 Apr, 2019 @ 11:15am
Why is this mod rated so low? This is awesome!

Always nice to see such creative ideas on the workshop even after so many years.
ASIM0 3 Apr, 2019 @ 7:25am
Work on DS/MP ?
Mojo 2 Apr, 2019 @ 4:26pm
Nice idea! Thumbs up from me!
The Erubian Warlord 2 Apr, 2019 @ 3:49am
what does a canister cost to make?
SMooreAce 1 Apr, 2019 @ 7:57pm
I can definitely see adding this to a bombing run!
woostyboy 1 Apr, 2019 @ 1:08pm
Can't wait to try this!! Nice work!
woostyboy 1 Apr, 2019 @ 1:07pm
How does it disperse when stationary? ;)
woostyboy 1 Apr, 2019 @ 1:07pm
Love it!! Smoke screen launcher for tanks?
Clockwork168  [author] 1 Apr, 2019 @ 9:51am
ooh, flare guns, I like it :D

Should be possible, I'll look into it
Eternis 1 Apr, 2019 @ 12:36am
a hand-held launcher that would leave the trail could be pretty amazing as well, could pop off a smoke flare to show your location rather than using gps.
