Thank you for the reply! Been playing some different scenarios lately and forgot all about this. I will definitely revisit this blueprint soon and try it again as it most likely was either user error (me) or a glitch in the game so I am very exited to try it out again.

The ship has a repair projector. Load the blueprint into it, select the checkbox "keep projection" and align the projection with the ship. The projector will tell you if blocks are missing.
Disconnect the ship (make sure it is turned on) and check the batteries individually in the control menu. The toolbar might lie to you. If you're certain that every battery is charged, toggled on and set to auto, yet still nothing happens, open the Admin-Panel (Alt+F10) and select "Enable Creative tools". Then aim at the (disconnected!) ship and use Crtl+x to cut out the ship, then ctrl+v to paste it back in. Disable the creative tools in the admin panel, then hop back into the ship, make sure to claim the ownership of every block and see if it's working now.

Hey there,
the ship has no subgrids, so this should not be an issue. And even though you would need Hydrogen and Uranium to use the full potential of this ship, battery power should get you going for a while. From what you describe, it all sounds like a power issue.

I am really new to this game (loving it!!!) and I checked it out and the recharge option wasn't on...I thought if recharge is on then the engines automatically shut off anyway?? not sure though. I believe it may be because there are subgrids and I have no idea (yet) how to print up a ship with subgrids so probably missing something important in the build I guess....maybe...probably lol. When I figure out how to print sub-gridded (is that a word) blueprints I will try it again and see if it will work right.

Sounds like the batteries are set to recharge? In this mode they will draw in all power in order to restore their charge. Which will result in the ship losing all power, unless there is uranium in the reactors or the ship is docked to an external power supply.

By the way I am also relatively new to the SE game (loving it!) but have figured out to double, triple and quadruple check everything lol so I have checked to make sure all blocks are turned on (even the hidden blocks) and tried turning them off them back on etc.. I'm an older gentleman so have a lot of patience and will rebuild it if I have to so no big deal. I'm sure it is working fine for many others so problem is most likely on my end.

Just printed this up in my space base, detached it from the small grid block, flew it over to the base connector with the ion thrusters (no H2 fuel yet), switch-locked it and filled the H2 tank and batteries, produced all the rockets and gattling ammo and filled them up and was sooooo very exited to fly this supreme looking ship but when I disconnected from the base connector (I made sure to turn the batteries and h2 back to auto instead of recharge first) the ship lost all power to both the ion and hydro thrusters and won't turn back on no matter what until I reconnect back to the base connector and then everything comes back on again.....so weird! Any help would be appreciated. Love your work by the way!! Looking forward to printing up more of your stuff.

I would love to see a continuum of this style of ship but more geared towards cargo/transport maybe even one with pods it can carry around so it can be between being able to carry a vechical, cargo, people,etc that and a secondary seat would be nice so you can have someone man the turret on top if your playing with a friend

@zyeri: It's strange, you're the second person who reported this issue to me recently. Different ships, but same phenomenon. I've tested this multiple times since then and just built a Valkyrie in my survival world, let it burn all its power and then kicked it back on with the back-up reactor. Still works as intended on my end.
Have you checked if not just the ship is turned on, but so is the individual block that is labeled "M.MS-IRV-1C Jumpstart Reactor"?

The Jumpstart-Reactor provides an external access-point to a reactors conveyor port that allows you to... well, jump-start the vessel in case it runs out of power. Put some Uranium into it, turn it on and the ship will start up again.

I don't even know what a lot the parts are on the ship... The h2/o2 generator looks like something from a mod... Good ship, it's just confusing me.

I personally ADORE this little ship. A bit of personal, in universe, standardization for anything frigate class or larger, is a hangar sufficient to carry at least one. I can't help but love your designs in general, but the Valkyrie is versatile enough to be a descendant of today's military utility helicopters, on top of looking fantastic. Most excellent.

@SorenBC: Open the Control Panel, find the Cockpit and uncheck 'Main Cockpit'. The Remote Control should work now.

Hello. Its a cool ship but I can't get the remote block to work. I can connect to the ship and use the cameras and everything but I can't move around or accelerate. I build it in survival and projector says complete, also no reds in control panel. It works flawlessly if I get in the cockpit and fly it around. Any suggestions?

I can't find the landing gear. Where is it? The ship console shows it, but it's not on the underside of the ship.

love your ships, another great one, thank you. the vargr is one of my fav of all time.
i have challenge for you! can you make a mine layer?! i have been trying to but cannot figure out the warhead part myself. i have a ship that can craft/deploy decoys over and over, but no mine layer!

also, the cockpit always restores power but the only way to heal yourself is to use the panel on the survival kit. which there is no access to.

hi yes i did figure out i can refill bottles by being in the cockpit.. i didnt even try because usually that never works lol.


but the landing gear i couldnt get to lock to the ground. i did however find a retractable one on the workshop that fit and it looks great with it.

Hi aaron! Thank you for your feedback. To restore your suits power, you just have to sit in the cockpit for a few seconds. you can also reach the O2/H2-Generator from there to refill your bottles. The bottom connector gives you access to a large conveyer port on the cargo containers and the survival kit has a large access point at the rear.

Unfortunately I was not able to reproduce your problem with the thrusters and the landing gear worked fine too. Could you please describe the issue more precisely?

i really like this design but it has some problems.
you cant access any large container port from the outside. this includes the survival kit for recharging the battery on your suit and the 02 generator for bottles. also the hydrogen thrusters damage the connectors and the landing gear seems useless.
