Hey guys, I am having a issue of playing this mod and I am not entirely sure why its not working. Every time I load the game with this mod, It crash at when I am in a loading screen. I have both the model pack and main pack so does anyone have idea what is my issue?

Part 2

Gelimer vs. Belisarius. I can't remember the precise details for this part. It involves a small skirmish on a hill and then Gelimer takes the hill, finds his brother's body at the pass to Carthage and weeps. Gelimer surmises that Belisarius' troops were now between him and Carthage, given the number of Vandal dead to his north. Meanwhile, Belisarius quickly debriefs the troops that were routed off the hill and then commits about 15000 infantry against 10000 of Gelimer's infantry who were out of position, not expecting to be attacked from behind. An easy win and that's Ad Decimum

Part 1

I think I would have made John vs. Ammatas more about John rolling up the column arriving from Carthage. So that engagement was basically defined by a small number of highly elite archer-lancers managing to catch the Vandal army off guard and then getting local superiority. It's really a Total War ambush type scenario, except the cavalry start at one end of the engagement. The way I see it working is probably 5 units under John, all horse archers with really excellent melee stats and armour stats, against 15-20 spread out Vandal units. The aim is to basically crush the head of the column and then move onto the next unit, always using your speed and charges to overwhelm individual units before they can coordinate against you.

Historically, John's troops left the battlefield and didn't return to help Belisarius so these are two separate battles.

@SIMIVS Given the lack of detail and restrictions you mentioned, I would simply ignore the Huns vs. Gibamund. It happened a few kilometres away somewhere on the salt flats probably and the Huns wiped Gibamund and then didn't return to the main conflict.

Just for context, I wrote the script for the Justinian's Reconquest series by Kings & Generals, but it was a few years ago so I'm a tiny bit hazy on this.

I would consider actually having two battles to represent Ad Decimum.

@Simply Shifty Yes, according to Procopius' records, the battle should be divided into 3 steps at least : 1. Hunnic foederati versus Gibamundus' troop; 2. John's bucellarii versus Ammatas' troop; 3. Finally Belisarius's army met Gelimer's main force. However, due to the regional restrictions before the battle, the distance between the troops will not be too far, so even if the battlefield is divided into three parts, the 3-steps-battle cannot be restored. Do you have any ideas ?

I'm not gonna lie, I had a fun time, but this wasn't how Procopius recorded the battle of Ad Decimum...

@vusalf 'Riders hanging in the air without horses' is a vanilla unresolved bug, maybe CA will fix it someday... And yes, you can play these new units in custom battle, they are available in there.

I played it already. Units look amazing and cool! great job guys. That javelin throw by vandal cavalry is absolutely devastating. I only noticed that some dead vandal horsemen get stuck hanging in the air without horses which is weird.
I wish these beautiful units would have been available in the campaign too. At least they are available in custom battle to play with them more.
