Thanks for making it configurable. I was watching the video and I was thinking I really like these animations, but I'd miss the pizazz of the vanilla pumping animations.

Well, all X2 weapons are oversized, so probably A or C batteries :D

@Iridar I like this mod a lot, but I can't figure out how to configure the mod to split the new animations with the OG ones 50/50. I can see the greentext reference to it in the config files, but there's no instructions and I don't see any obvious values related to it~

Each entry configures new animations for one weapon. In this example, it is "TLE_Shotgun_CV", which is the template name for the Scattergun conventional shotgun added by the Tactical Legacy Pack.

So you need to copy that entry, then replace the "TLE_Shotgun_CV" with one of the template names you got earlier.

The other four lines are AnimSets. Each AnimSet contains some animations. The list of AnimSets with new animations you can choose from is located at the top of the configuration file, but it's probably most apropriate to use the same AnimSets as for other weapons with the TLE_ prefix.

2) Once you have the template names, go to my mod's configuration file:

There you will find entries like this one:

1) First, find Template Names for the weapons added by the "Clean TLE Weapons With Tiered Upgrades" mod.

Hi there, I hope that this finds you well. I really like this mod and thank you for sharing it with us! I'm encountering a slight issue with it that I was wondering if you could help me resolve... I also use the "[WOTC] [FIXED] Clean TLE Weapons With Tiered Upgrades" mod with this, but your awesome animations sadly don't seem to carry over to the TLP/TLE/whatever shotgun there and I'm trying to figure out how to fix that.

I imagine this can be resolved somewhere in the config, but I keep getting confused. Maybe this is mentioned in "Weapon Skin Replacer's Documentation" in some capacity, but if it is, then the wording is just not clicking for me, so just wanted to ask if you could help point me in the right direction? Sorry if I sound dense. Some of this is just going over my head. Thanks again

Ok i may be blind but how do you get that reload animation for the TLP Mag Shotgun from 1:20. Its a different animation from the unmodded one right?

Does this work with the guns added in A Better Barracks? As much as I love that mod, the derpy vanilla shotgun animations still make me chuckle.

You can have a 50/50 chance. I believe there are examples on how to do that in the .ini file of this mod.

I have got this error after crashing when loading my save:
Error: (AddNetObject) Objects SkeletalMesh Soldier_ANIM.Meshes.SM_SldCnvMed_Reference_All_A_M and AnimSet Soldier_ANIM.Anims.AS_Shotgun have duplicate NetIndex
Is it related to this mod pls?

I thought so too, but after resetting the config by uninstalling and redownloading the mod I still only see vanilla pumping and reloads. I'm verifying game cache now, and hopefully that'll reset some doohicky and fix all my problems and maybe even make my dad love me.

@Iridar Yep, I do have the highlander installed. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the replacer and the shotgun animations to make sure I haven't altered anything. I just ran the game with just the highlander, wsr, and the shotgun animations installed and I still somehow seem to only be seeing the default animations. I have no doubt that this is due to an error on my part, or some kind of other issue with my install of Xcom itself. The last thing I can think to do is verify the cache and see if that does anything.

Do you have Highlander installed?
Mod load order doesn't matter here.
You're not supossed to do anything with configs, they should just work.
To be clear, do the new shotgun animations work if you don't change the default config?

I'm having a bit of trouble getting these to work and I'm wondering if I missed a step. I have weapon skin replacer downloaded, and I've troubleshooted this by running XCom 2 with just the WSR replacer and the shotgun anims enabled. The shotgun anims definitely come after the WSR in the mod load order. I don't know if I'm supposed to add the config lines from this mod into the WSR configuration, but looking at what Iridar has documented here, and because the config leads to the same location it should theoretically work.

I've only changed the pumping animation selection to the animset that creates random pumping. However my soldiers are not using the new pumping animation nor the new reload animation. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I just started a new run and using this and it makes a really cool difference. @Iridar, any chance you could configure for the shotgun in the Exalt Weapon pack? I imagine it will be a bit wonky, but it would be way better than the standard animation for that particular gun. Thanks!
