A white dwarf is a low mass dead star, a neutron star is a massive but not too massive dead star, and a black hole is a star any bigger than "too big".

a neutron star is yes, only a few km large, but has an extremely intense magnetic gravity field. inside it is holding the entire mass of a star...exept... the faster the spin the faster the pull. And a neutron star spins millions of times in a second.

I did some math, a white dwarf is about 350,000 times Earth's, so 9.8*350,000 equals 3,430,000. Except I think 450K Gs is quite enough already.

How far from the surface does gravity influence start?

Fellow PP owner among others. I'm going to come check out your system :)

@clone.wars.hero5 If you fancy death by compression

can we land on it?

Briefly explained: It forms because gravity overwhelms the radiationpressure of the star and the core collapses. It still contains about half the stars mass. :)

Nice! Now we can get stuck there forever!

ok

it a bit weak.

Equal to our earth's area, its estimated to be around 440-450K g, so, you made
