Hope that helps. Btw, your mod has been on the top for quite awhile now, Good Job!, and I found a little Easter egg in your LCD text that made me laugh.

@BDS: is there still a downvote problem in the empyrion workshop? I didn't believed in it until I experienced it by myself ... sad creatures ...

@The.Derpy.Deed. The LCD screen in the game will no doubt always be a static display. Sometimes you just have to go with a RP theme and use your imagination.
@BuffHamster I didn't think to use .rtf for creation. Was using notepad and then editing in game. Thanks for the tip.
Like you, I found that the simple commands Ctrl C and Ctrl V to be very handy when creating LCD screens. I then use a Word Document saved as a .rtf to paste all the characters that will work for the LCD text input. I then use the same document to assemble what I want on the LCD screen and copy from that, then Ctrl V into the LCD text. Easy Peasy.
As mentioned, what would be great is to be able to use some of the game's variables in the LCD text input. Unfortunately, that would be up to Eleon to add that function.
