@nemes1s: can you read? It doesn't _produce_ algae, it _consumes_ them. It's a twist on algae terrarium, that instead of producing algae consumes them, similar to oxygen diffuser, but requires no electricity. Also, a legit way to produce polluted water and also O2 gen is way higher than for grower. IMVHO really useful.
Don't use it if you don't need/like it. It's a mod, FFS.

I have it working right now. Only tested in sandbox mode, but seems to be working correctly.

Can confirm it doesn't work.

It can be built, will take task materials, but will not consume CO2, nor will it emit algae and O2.

It remains brown, as if it doesn't have all the materials it needs.

Well, it appears now, for some unknown reason, the mod is working. Even though I tested this repeatedly with various different mod configurations and used the mod updater and mod manager tools to verify its status.

Please note, I installed this mod for the first time today. It was broken. Verifying that it can't possibly have been old left over files somewhere.

Every mod I've used from this guy appears to be crashing. He doesn't check comments here either, only github. Mod Updater and Mod Manager both found no updates for these mods so, I don't think these are being updated anymore.

It is Algea grower, not oxygen producer. Why are you people complaining?

Please could you add something we could configure for this? I'm on an algae bottleneck and this is so slow that it's not much better than just being without.

Nice idea but in this form pretty useless. just too damn slow, doesnt return waste water and needs CO2 to even work and even then it needs to be worked on every minute thus really unreliable and bad scaling production. So it is much of a waste of space and workforce

I know you said you don't read comments, But I just wanna say I feel that 10g/s isn't enough to even barely support a diffuser. Maybe you can add a config so people can adjust to their needs?

nice, but i think and "alge grower" should not produce oxygen. there is already a building to produce oxy from alge :)

Maybe can be better if the consume is:
carbon dioxide
water
fertilizer
( need light )

And the output is:
oxygen
slime

this should be in the base game

Please add pipes for the outlet of gas and liquid to all new buildings, and you can also be asked to do it in Russian, please.

So these *need* to be in an environment that produces carbon dioxide to start working, right? Because I rarely ever get them to be sustainably "on" despite them having enough light, and it always seems like the Dupes just never prioritize them even when priority is set to 9
