Whole campaign, since this version isn't up to date with the version in my Overhaul.
Vesper Tenebris 27 Feb, 2021 @ 1:49pm
i can use max 8 units per army or entire campaign?
Zaylidin  [author] 8 Jan, 2021 @ 12:43am

Zaylidin  [author] 8 Jan, 2021 @ 12:43am
That's because the unit files are already in the new definitive edition so that its compatible with the other one. Id reccomend just unit the unit pack version if you want this unit.
von dutch 7 Jan, 2021 @ 11:26pm
So for some reason this mod was crashing the game when I started using your brand new definitive bretonnia overhaul, just wanted to let you know. I love your work!
Mana-100 21 May, 2020 @ 4:19pm
Will your unit mod need to be updated to work? And if so please update when you can I love your mods.
Zaylidin  [author] 13 Jan, 2020 @ 9:14am
@eddhilt
The outfits are men at arms bodies with errant knight heads.
And sorry, i won't be changing the voices since they are still meant to be peasants - I know its not what you wanted to hear :(

And thank you for enjoying my mod and leaving comments <3
eddhilt 13 Jan, 2020 @ 9:05am
Thank you for the quick response. Sorry to bother but would it be possible to have them in french? I mean they look great whether they wear lyonesse or bretonnia colours, they act very well on the battlefield as well (their animations look gorgeous). I would have loved to play with them in one of my campaigns. By the way which unit did you copy to create their outfit?
Zaylidin  [author] 12 Jan, 2020 @ 8:23am
@eddhilt
Thank you very much. And yes, they should be available in the repanse campaign ^_^
eddhilt 12 Jan, 2020 @ 7:51am
Hello! great mod. Would they be available in a repanse de Lyonesse campaign. Thks.
Centauro13 24 Dec, 2019 @ 12:11pm
Well. Happy holiday.
Zaylidin  [author] 24 Dec, 2019 @ 12:07pm
@Centauro13
You keep talking about having no desire to offend me, and you haven't I want to make that clear, but I'm just not interested in this any longer, I'd like it if this topic was dropped. Thanks and have a happy holiday!
Centauro13 24 Dec, 2019 @ 11:48am
Lily did You're see that? You can use it if you want. Custom Great Helmet and Plain Plate Armor Models for Modders by Gorgos

@ Tinabink. You're right, museums all over the World are full of exhibits. But alas, most of them have nothing to do with the true story. A lot of counterfeits of those days, which was done in the 19th and 20th centuries and do to this day. Ancient history, the middle ages just as much a fantasy as W. H./W. H. 2. Whether you believe this official story or not is your right. And the most important thing! I have no desire to offend you and the mods maker. ;)
Tinabink 22 Dec, 2019 @ 2:49am
Thank you Lily for all your mods, they're making up a big chunk of my mod list in my current Repanse campaign. Please don't worry about being historically inaccurate in a Warhammer Fantasy game, not that you were inaccurate at all, 'hounskull' visors were most definitely a thing in the Middle Ages... I've seen my fair share of original ones in museums.
Centauro13 18 Dec, 2019 @ 10:14am
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. All the best to you in the new year! Thanks for the answer. ;)) !
Zaylidin  [author] 18 Dec, 2019 @ 10:10am
@Centauro13
I'm just using the helmets that exist in the game.
You don't like it so you don't subscribe, and thats fine. I hope you find mods more suitable to your liking and I hope you have a nice day!
Centauro13 18 Dec, 2019 @ 9:58am
I like your modifications. But I don't like units and their helmets. And why do archers, spearmen, swordsmen peasants have the same helmets "dog face"? And Knights in the same helmets. Helmets such as "dog face" made in the 19th century by stamping. Blacksmiths gunsmiths of the middle ages did not possess stamping machines. This is the only reason I can't subscribe to your mods. Change your units helmets on historical. I'm sorry. If I've offended you. It's not rude. I want you to do better. I apologize for the machine translation.

I see you asking a lot and I apologise for not bein on top of things for a while. My bad.
Mana-100 28 Nov, 2019 @ 11:02am
Will you being updating your unit mods for the new DLC? I'm asking because the FLC lord I think will be a Bretonnian lord.
Mana-100 13 Sep, 2019 @ 6:35am
Please update soon.
Mana-100 4 Sep, 2019 @ 11:06am
Ok if you make it I would sub right away. Thx for your time keep up the good work. Sorry if I sound rude.
Zaylidin  [author] 4 Sep, 2019 @ 5:04am
@archiestewart
That's ok, not a long post at all ^^
Currently I am not pursuing making and editing my mods. That may change in the future though.
I like your suggestion a lot and if I was to pursuit modding again, I think that is one mod I would make.
Mana-100 3 Sep, 2019 @ 3:05pm
Love all of your longbowmen mods. Question could you make one for the empire? Because the archers coming with it suck so far and it will give the empire a bit more range power in late game against the elfs and Bretonnia with these mods on. If so thx sorry for such a long post.
Zaylidin  [author] 7 Jul, 2019 @ 3:07am
@Emperor
Thanks for taking the time to write the comment!
I agree with you on the point that a helm like this isn't practical, and I would say that a kettle hat would be better, but then they wouldn't be distinguised from the regular men-at-arms with longbows that I have made.
There is an open-front variant of this helmet but the men's faces can be seen, and they clearly look like the faces of the knight's errant.

Anyway, while I would like to consider changing the helmet, I can't update mods due to a current glitch in the launcher so unfortunately I can't address any issues.
Emperor 7 Jul, 2019 @ 1:18am
Might I suggest removing the helmets, or trying some different texture to change them for open helmets? Kettle helmets might be pretty iconic but, if there's such a texture available an open bascinet or sallet would probably be the best options. I know all these knightly helmets emphasise their status as "royal longbowmen" and elevate them from the common rabble that are the men-at-arms, but in terms of practicality, it's hard to imagine anything more detrimental to a bowman's performance, you can hardly see anything from inside one of those. It'd be a real waste to field expert bowmen with equipment that restricts their vision to a degree that negates their skill.
In any case, beyond that issue, I find it's pretty great that you came up with this mod, Bretonnia is very lacking in missile infantry and a second, unit for mid-endgame was sorely needed. Plus, the concept is pretty cool!
dallas.wild 27 May, 2019 @ 7:03am
does this mod work?
Cuttler'sButler 17 Apr, 2019 @ 11:22am
Ah oke guess they will fix it soon enought
Zaylidin  [author] 17 Apr, 2019 @ 11:15am
@CookieMcDinner
Okay, I'm definitely having the same issue as you, and it seems to be no matter what. I think this is CA's fault. Mods are not working together, only one Mod works at a time.
Cuttler'sButler 17 Apr, 2019 @ 10:49am
Thank you very much ^^
Zaylidin  [author] 17 Apr, 2019 @ 10:47am
@CookieMcDinner
Interesting, that is good to know. I won;t stop working on these until it works for me, that I can guarantee. It might be a few days until they all work as intended though, and I may make some balance changes along the way.
Cuttler'sButler 17 Apr, 2019 @ 10:44am
If it help i noticed that it depends which unit it shows on how i load the mods in the launcher (it shoows only the first united listed) for example if i have the roayl foot squires at the top it only shows them. But thanks for your effort ^^
Zaylidin  [author] 17 Apr, 2019 @ 10:40am
@CookieMcDinner
I'm getting around to "update" all of my mods (which involves clicking update and re-uploading the description and not actually changing them at all) in hopes that it might fix them, it will remove the yellow-warning triangle at the very least.
The update only really effected the rework mods and I have spent the last hour fixing them so that shouldn't be a concern for anyone (hopefully)
Cuttler'sButler 17 Apr, 2019 @ 10:38am
im using these mods:
Foot Squire Spearmen
Foot Squire Hammers (giant hammer version)
Royal Foot Squires
Royal Longbowmen
Roaly Men-At-Arms

dont know might be because the update changed bretonnia ?
Zaylidin  [author] 17 Apr, 2019 @ 10:34am
@CookieMcDinner
That sounds very odd and I'd like to know more.
Prior to the update, I used to have all of my separate unit mods active and they worked together, so this might be due to the update? I'm really not sure though.
Cuttler'sButler 17 Apr, 2019 @ 10:31am
So i just got that mod ( and some other unit modes form u) but i cant load them all at the same time only one unit shows up ... is it because of the update or is this a known problem?
Zaylidin  [author] 13 Apr, 2019 @ 6:00am
@Dov
Yes it is!
Dov 13 Apr, 2019 @ 5:37am
Thanks for the mod! Is this unit affected by peasant bowmen lord skills and tech?
Zaylidin  [author] 13 Apr, 2019 @ 2:32am
@ZoroTheBold
Im actually thinking im finished with making infantry/archer units for now. "Royal Arbalests" does sound pretty good though!
Thanks for the kind words and for liking my mod c:
ZoroTheBold 12 Apr, 2019 @ 9:41pm
Have you thought about making an even more elite version of this with Crossbowmen? Maybe like Royal Arbalests or something with magic arrows? I've seen magic ranged units in other mods and thought it might mix well with this one you've made here. Maybe a RoR version of these Longbowmen as well? Either way I love this mod and you should be proud of it. Good luck with your next mods!
Zaylidin  [author] 10 Apr, 2019 @ 4:01pm
@kr-c
Cool! Glad you understand :)
Also, don't expect a unit like that any time soon since working I've had trouble trying to make artillery in the past.
Kalrotix 10 Apr, 2019 @ 3:50pm
Too bad, I realy would a musketeer unit for bretonnia but I understand your reticences.

And yes I would like a rocket battery in bretonnia. I'm curious to see how you could adapt them ^^
Zaylidin  [author] 8 Apr, 2019 @ 4:43pm
@kr-c
I'm not a fan of guns really, so that's a solid no. Sorry buddy.
I do like rocketry though, would you wanna see the hellfire rocket battery in Bretonnia, or am I being too weird?

Without reading your response I'm going to assume a no on the rockets. I am really glad you like this mod though! Thanks for taking the time to tell me c:
Kalrotix 8 Apr, 2019 @ 3:35pm
Excellent. I love the lore and the looks of your units !

Could you make bretonnia a unit of firearm ? Something like "musketeers" to rest in the "French theme". They could be a unit of arquebuse with respectable melee attack ad defense but low armor and be an elit unit in contrast with empire ?
Zaylidin  [author] 8 Apr, 2019 @ 6:45am
@Marshall Dorling, @ZombieKiller8989
Thank you very much! Glad to hear you both like the mod c:

@Mikołaj. miszcz
I've only completed one campaign as lizardmen, I wouldn't really say I know that much about them. I think they are cool but I wouldn't know what to add. Maybe some day.
Equivocator 8 Apr, 2019 @ 3:59am
Can you make units fpr Lizardmen? They lack varied infantry with good unit cards. :steamsad:
