Yeah the fix for the bug on the mission with the decker, is described in the above 'discussion' "Cannot access tunnel to warehouse".

Hi there. Big thanks for a greatly built experience. You have my vote for chapter 2, 3 ... or 4 in 1.

The first hour was well built from my perspective. Even with a little lack of interactivity in the surroundings and areas ingame. That doesn't count here now. Your storyplay was what got me hooked.

The beginning, f.e., where I have to dive into that garbage bin. And where I was thinking to better not dive into it because I expected bad talk by the residents. I expected a lot and therefore I had a little bit of a stretched playtime here and there, and I enjoyed it *g. Gladly I can laugh over my casual self. *blush

And that moment with the ATM, where I "d'oh'ed" while getting the first look at the gear from Gav Vin (if I remember the name right).... *g

I am eager to see what will happen with her, I just want to know more about all the reasons behind her adventure and what she's all about.

Therefore: please consider creating the next chapter.

And thanks for this one.
Kind regards

Is echo 2 on the distant horizon...or are we trapped within this tiny echo chapter 1?

Hi, i got a famous bug:

"Yup, same here, after defeating the security guards and getting the info from the matrix, am stuck in the basement with no way out. Hope it's fixed! Otherwise enjoyed this mod so far."
apostrophejj 22 Sep, 2015 @ 2:44am
Great UGC! The writing is great, the start is nothing short of impressive. the down on your luck penniless was well put together; you do kill to get by. in hindsight, it was really short. but excellent, the plot got a mad hook to it, act 2 will come hot and heavy.

- lack of period ponctuation in many lines, seemed lazy on the editor;
- apple jack is hireable, as a naked unarmed troll;
- where did the street bum run to?
- bug to open the underground hatch.
AbuSun 11 Feb, 2015 @ 9:58pm
Just finished it, short but very good. Really liked the writing, gives a lot of atmosphere.
One bug I had: choosing the bouncer ork (troll?) guy as a runner only gave me a naked ork without any equipment. Its also a bit easy, as you can hire some good runners.
kammy64 1 Feb, 2015 @ 12:22pm
Short but really good to play! I want to know the end :D pleeease, make the next chapter <3
Lazzarus 1 Feb, 2015 @ 6:39am
Really great, the story is very interesting, a little short but is just a chapter. I really want to know how it ends :D

When's chapter 2 coming out?

@Shura @IamNotOneofUS. There is a way around. First of all do not check opening hatch before you receive code for it. Now, when you got the access code from matrix then use your PC to check hatch, while in combat mode. You can now open the scene and proceed. It may work without combat mode or when your decker is still jacked or if you dealt with security without icing them. I am not sure.
Glintwine 19 Sep, 2014 @ 11:46am
Wow! That was really fantastic. I've played quite a few UGCs for this game, but this one, while short, was hands-down best yet. You really nailed the Cyberpunk feel with your top-notch writing and level design. I'll probably be diving in again with a different character to see what kind of options I'll get with a different set of skills. Hope you keep up the good work!
ImNotOneOfUs 15 Aug, 2014 @ 3:36pm
Looks like I'm not the only one stuck in the basement. It doesn't look like the author has touched his story in about a year. Bummer as I was liking the story. Oh well...

I am also stuck in the basement, I have the code, but cannot seem to enter it anywhere.

Also in the Matrix, my character has a Decking of 1, My hired decker has a decking of 6. But although my decker is the one jacked in, the Decking Skill of 2 test is against my character not the decker.

Yup, same here, after defeating the security guards and getting the info from the matrix, am stuck in the basement with no way out. Hope it's fixed! Otherwise enjoyed this mod so far.

Unfortunately a bug has made it so that I am unable to access the warehouse. It's a pity, but I'm running into this problem a lot in the user made campaigns.
Langreda 23 Feb, 2014 @ 9:45pm
Good job chummer! I would be excited to see where this goes, there is a lot of potential. Only major bug was when my decker pal went to the comm inside the facility, outside the door with the security goons, I couldnt pick the decking options, even though the decker met the skill requirements.
dryspaghetti 9 Feb, 2014 @ 5:31pm
Awesome run. Challenging but not buggy. Chewy but not too chewy.

Bug note: If you tell your team you'll cover them at the end and they say "go where?", a Lone Star responds instead.
Zane Grey 5 Feb, 2014 @ 6:52am
41 minutes down the drain, but you had me hooked. I played through again, this time ignoring the AK, and I made it to the end. Very cool. Please write Echo II. (not sure what was up with that AK thing. I couldn't make it glitch out like that if I tried.)
Zane Grey 5 Feb, 2014 @ 6:16am
In the Dyn Tech building picked up AK 97, but the "confirm" button won't light up no matter what I choose to do with it. That window won't go away, and I'm essentially paralyzed. Now I have to start the entire level over again. I won't pick that up again.

What causes this glitch? I've never seen that before.
dragineyez21 2 Feb, 2014 @ 9:36am
Really enjoyed it. Looking forward to more.

That was a nice mod
Gavin Again 8 Jan, 2014 @ 3:22pm
This was great, i loved it! Please continue making it! I was woundering if the Gav Vin johnson was based on anything?
Analog Pill 31 Dec, 2013 @ 9:30pm
This was fantastic man, hope you continue the story. Amazing work. :)
Eisenhorn_Puritus 22 Dec, 2013 @ 4:59pm
Waiting for the second part, chummer.
Bibs 17 Dec, 2013 @ 4:58pm
Very well done, enjoyed it a lot. I like the way you tell the story and your dialogues were written very nice throughout the whole chapter. I hope you find the time to make a chapter 2, because I really want to know how the story continues.
kubrickscube 15 Dec, 2013 @ 9:14pm
Really well done- love the flashback structure. Looking forward to more.
hanzde 14 Dec, 2013 @ 5:06pm
Nice
EriCordeiro 11 Dec, 2013 @ 3:53pm
Amazing writting and a mean cliffhanger... The run was pretty solid, although the decker you gave is terrible (lv 1 decking skill? Might as well invest in decking myself, what with so many almost free karma points...). Thanks for this awesome run and I'm looking forward for chapter 2.
minifig404 29 Nov, 2013 @ 9:08pm
This was pretty good, but I'd put a bit more TLC into the details; this one felt a bit rough around the paths-less-traveled.
sennal 28 Nov, 2013 @ 1:39am
Really enjoyed this mod - thumbs up for atmosphere, storyline and all those touches which really helped to set the scene. A lot of fun to play - just hoping there is going to be a second installment. Thank you for sharing this :)
Mr. Markus 25 Nov, 2013 @ 1:28pm
Hey I just started to play it again, and found a bug. Not sure if it's your run or a bug in SR. For the mission, I hired a Technomaster who comes with a rank S attack drone. The guy has Drone Control 1, which means it is unusable. The drone doesn't even get spawned to the map, and cannot be activated in combat. Do you design these characters for hire, or are they generated randomly by the game?
Mr. Markus 25 Nov, 2013 @ 12:24pm
I just finished your run, and liked it a lot. Thx!
Apex_AV 9 Nov, 2013 @ 5:30am
feedback cont- . . .
I like how you keep the time between maps/autosaves short - to account for Reallife interruptions. Until they implement Quick Save in the game! I hate maps that take 1hour+ to get across because if its late and you can't finish the map , you have to retrace yoursteps the next day and it can spoil the pacing/atmosphere.
Suggestion: Introduce a replayable run(s) - therefore if characters are not good enough to beat a level on your main quest that can try to earn more karma /money for their character; this will avoid hitting a brickwall and getting frustrated.
Would Recommend! Great story PLEASE make the next chapter!

Really enjoyed this mod.
I liked how you introduced karma gain from exploration & making new contacts. And good internal monologue always helps to increase the immersion and atmosphere.
Suggestions: Allow character to transition between starting areas and other streets by Foot, rather than paying for a taxi - 'cos I didnt have enough to travel back and thought I might have missed something (you could add random 0-6HP lose for travelling such a long distance; or a temp -1 body from fatigue for D6 rounds? or -1 Charisma for D6rounds for being all sweating and drenched by rain?)
I liked beable to fully heal from resting in a bed.
draxil 2 Nov, 2013 @ 3:09pm
Good fun!
Desertcat 31 Oct, 2013 @ 8:39pm
Excellent work, 'Runner. Let's see some more...!

Great great work, chummer... Waiting impatiently for further dev. Thx for the pleasure.
Conan, Cimmerian 27 Oct, 2013 @ 12:11am
Interesting story and very cool effects. I particularly enjoyed ripping that ATM out of the wall ;)

I agree that spelling and punctuation could use some work, but it´s not that bad imo
rasoli_melanie 18 Oct, 2013 @ 3:35am
Awesome work !! I can't wait for chapter 2. Any ETA ?
Archibald Zanzibar 2 Oct, 2013 @ 1:38pm
So you're making Chapter 2, right? Because I'm pretty sure everyone who played this wants more.
redirishlord 1 Oct, 2013 @ 3:38pm
Outstanding! Loved the storytelling, first-rate. Really enjoyed the wrap-up tying the intro to the outro. Looking forward to more, if you're feeling generous. Big thanks Vapors!
bryan_pow 29 Sep, 2013 @ 3:32am
The best UGC I've played so far. Engaging plot, good pacing and a mysterious yet gritty story. Love it.
IgnusDei 28 Sep, 2013 @ 11:45pm
Spelling and punctuation keeps snapping me out of the experience. Needs some more work done to it before I give it a rating.
WolfSamurai 27 Sep, 2013 @ 12:04pm
I don't know if this is a bug or if it's intended, but I can't even head into the first hired run because it says that I haven't hired enough additional runners. I can't exit from the screen and don't have enough money to hire more than 1 runner. A bit disappointing.
Capgun Outlaw 19 Sep, 2013 @ 12:34pm
I'm very picky when it comes to content I'll play, as I'm a hardcore tabletop SR gamer and I've got to say your campaign is the best I've played so far.

Get your ass to work making the next chapter!

Don't make me geek you, chummer. ;)
tentacledone 11 Sep, 2013 @ 6:37am
Very enjoyable!
Can't wait to see the story unfold, and really can't wait for the next chapter. Keep up the excellent work, chummer :)
Amulon 8 Sep, 2013 @ 1:40pm
I enjoyed the story. Keep in coming. I wanted more. :)
Wreck 7 Sep, 2013 @ 7:22am
I like the feel and the initial play is interesting.

I've run into one problem, and this seems to be a problem in a couple of UGCs.
Why is it that I can't seem to get hireling deckers to interface with objects and use their skills? In the first run, the PC is required to hire a decker, but that decker is unable to jam the door where the guards are hanging out. Despite having the necessary skills listed.

Anyway, keep it up. Should be fun.
emanks2 6 Sep, 2013 @ 10:58pm
Very good initial story line. Good writing, and easy to navigate layout. I'm really liking the feel of the linear gameplay. Echo has some great potential, and I'll be looking forward to Chapter 2.
Keep up the great work Vapors!
