The first hour was well built from my perspective. Even with a little lack of interactivity in the surroundings and areas ingame. That doesn't count here now. Your storyplay was what got me hooked.
The beginning, f.e., where I have to dive into that garbage bin. And where I was thinking to better not dive into it because I expected bad talk by the residents. I expected a lot and therefore I had a little bit of a stretched playtime here and there, and I enjoyed it *g. Gladly I can laugh over my casual self. *blush
And that moment with the ATM, where I "d'oh'ed" while getting the first look at the gear from Gav Vin (if I remember the name right).... *g
I am eager to see what will happen with her, I just want to know more about all the reasons behind her adventure and what she's all about.
Therefore: please consider creating the next chapter.
And thanks for this one.
Kind regards
"Yup, same here, after defeating the security guards and getting the info from the matrix, am stuck in the basement with no way out. Hope it's fixed! Otherwise enjoyed this mod so far."
- lack of period ponctuation in many lines, seemed lazy on the editor;
- apple jack is hireable, as a naked unarmed troll;
- where did the street bum run to?
- bug to open the underground hatch.
One bug I had: choosing the bouncer ork (troll?) guy as a runner only gave me a naked ork without any equipment. Its also a bit easy, as you can hire some good runners.
Also in the Matrix, my character has a Decking of 1, My hired decker has a decking of 6. But although my decker is the one jacked in, the Decking Skill of 2 test is against my character not the decker.
Bug note: If you tell your team you'll cover them at the end and they say "go where?", a Lone Star responds instead.
What causes this glitch? I've never seen that before.
I like how you keep the time between maps/autosaves short - to account for Reallife interruptions. Until they implement Quick Save in the game! I hate maps that take 1hour+ to get across because if its late and you can't finish the map , you have to retrace yoursteps the next day and it can spoil the pacing/atmosphere.
Suggestion: Introduce a replayable run(s) - therefore if characters are not good enough to beat a level on your main quest that can try to earn more karma /money for their character; this will avoid hitting a brickwall and getting frustrated.
Would Recommend! Great story PLEASE make the next chapter!
Really enjoyed this mod.
I liked how you introduced karma gain from exploration & making new contacts. And good internal monologue always helps to increase the immersion and atmosphere.
Suggestions: Allow character to transition between starting areas and other streets by Foot, rather than paying for a taxi - 'cos I didnt have enough to travel back and thought I might have missed something (you could add random 0-6HP lose for travelling such a long distance; or a temp -1 body from fatigue for D6 rounds? or -1 Charisma for D6rounds for being all sweating and drenched by rain?)
I liked beable to fully heal from resting in a bed.
I agree that spelling and punctuation could use some work, but it´s not that bad imo
Get your ass to work making the next chapter!
Don't make me geek you, chummer. ;)
Can't wait to see the story unfold, and really can't wait for the next chapter. Keep up the excellent work, chummer :)
I've run into one problem, and this seems to be a problem in a couple of UGCs.
Why is it that I can't seem to get hireling deckers to interface with objects and use their skills? In the first run, the PC is required to hire a decker, but that decker is unable to jam the door where the guards are hanging out. Despite having the necessary skills listed.
Anyway, keep it up. Should be fun.
Keep up the great work Vapors!
