is this compatable with the unofficial megachampaing

If you want to remove Crohn's disease just open the mod's .zip in the CK2 mod folder and delete the entire "traits" folder. It will remove the trait entirely even from saved games

Can you make this for ck3 please?? :)
Inquisitor 7 Jul, 2020 @ 1:07pm
a bit weird, when i start the game every character in the game gains chron's desease and become incapable
Sullivas 22 Jun, 2020 @ 7:51pm
Crohn's disease is far too common with this mod
tomknudsen37 6 Jun, 2020 @ 5:27am
Witan Succession does not work when you turn feudal. which is too bad as that was the greatest draw for me. Thanks for the mod.
ademonlikeyou 26 Apr, 2020 @ 6:36pm
If you made a version of this mod with no crohn's disease, it would be appreciated. The mod looks great especially as I'm an English history buff myself, but I don't have an interest in the addition of a mechanic which affects the whole map.
lmfao 8 Apr, 2020 @ 2:23pm
How do I separate bloodlines and witan succession from the rest so I can play in Iron Century without the other parts messing with titles?
vosegus  [author] 30 Mar, 2020 @ 1:17pm
I've really stopped playing CK2, and as such stopped developing this mod as well. If anyone wants to use this mod's content in other mods, or update it's content and repost, please feel free to do so.
tomknudsen37 28 Mar, 2020 @ 8:10am
Mod Disables "Search for Smith" only option is "Actually now may not be the best time..."

No other Mods
Ritter Ayla 3 Mar, 2020 @ 2:46pm
Hey, nice mod! could you make a version that includes only the new succession type? would be greatly appreciated.

I can't vote for alfred

mcduke313 Sussex and Surrey weren't Jutish, Sussex was Suth Seaxe literally South Saxons
mcduke313 30 Aug, 2019 @ 4:34pm
I look forward to the new Cultures, but I'm trying to figure out what cultures Essex, Surrey, Sussex, & Kent would be Essex were Saxons like Wessex but would likely be more Culturally similar to the East Angles and Mercians. While the Surrey, Kent and the Isle of White(Whitwara) were Jutish but likely culturally similar to the West Saxons.
mcduke313 30 Aug, 2019 @ 4:28pm
Oh thank god there's a version that works with Vanilla. Tried to play with the other one and the London Area was an unofficial wasteland, glad to have a playable version.
vosegus  [author] 25 Aug, 2019 @ 11:29am
Just updated to support Iron Century startdate.

Tested crohns disease to ensure everyone isn't sick all the time. After 20 years on observe mode, only 5 people in the game were suffering.
vosegus  [author] 11 May, 2019 @ 3:15pm
Updated to make Crohn's disease less common.

@Sarcasmal Those are some great ideas! I've been (and will be) very busy with work for a while now, but I'll post on here when I get around to adding new features.

Hey, I've been playing this mod and I'm really enjoying it! I just have a couple of suggestions:
Perhaps the old title of 'Earldorman' could be used for the English chiefs? It was a common title for Anglo-Saxon counts at that time.
Also, could there be a decision to become 'King of the Anglo Saxons', forming a bloodline? That'd be pretty cool, as it happened historically before 'England' became a thing.
Dharma 30 Apr, 2019 @ 10:52pm
awesome thanks mate, shame its not ironman friendly. thanks again for the great mod
vosegus  [author] 30 Apr, 2019 @ 5:17pm
That's the better looking garbs mod! I really recommend it, it makes a lot of really great cosmetic changes
Dharma 30 Apr, 2019 @ 4:44pm
How did you get the full anglo saxon mask on screenshot three? Great mod btw thanks
lematch 28 Apr, 2019 @ 5:43pm
cheeky
JamesDixon 20 Apr, 2019 @ 11:21am
I like the mod, but there's a problem. If you play as a Norse in 769 start you cannot get the Smith to show up ever. The option just says it's not available. Is this intentional?
KarbonPanzer 19 Apr, 2019 @ 5:12am
I am, I'll see if I can narrow it down
vosegus  [author] 18 Apr, 2019 @ 7:05pm
@The Sale God are you running any other mods? it might be a compatibility issue, as I've been playing with this mod for a while and haven't seen this occur.
KarbonPanzer 18 Apr, 2019 @ 8:50am
Everyone has Crohn's Disease and I mean everyone.
vosegus  [author] 17 Apr, 2019 @ 6:35am
@BOT Chazzzo that's an interesting idea! I'll look into it. Maybe even add a game rule like the Hellenic revival!
I'll definitely check it out, thank you for the recommendation!
Chazzzo 16 Apr, 2019 @ 10:30pm
Brilliant mod so far! Any chance you'll add the ability for lunatic characters to revive Anglo-Saxon Germanic Paganism?

Also, if you're interested in reading a book on this topic, I'd recommend Stenton's 'Anglo-Saxon England'.
vosegus  [author] 15 Apr, 2019 @ 2:58pm
Also, with today's release of HIP, look for a compatible version soon :-)
vosegus  [author] 15 Apr, 2019 @ 2:57pm
@Charlemagne the waerod retinue is meant to represent the members of the "warrior class" of anglo saxon society. They mostly fought in a shieldwall formation using a sword they called a "seax" (actually one of the basis for the term "Saxon"). i chose to make them 150 HI and 50 pikemen because there is evidence they also used spears and axes.
Jango 15 Apr, 2019 @ 10:51am
This should be vanilla, this is great
Batsy 15 Apr, 2019 @ 4:03am
leaving thi s here
Mega Luxray 14 Apr, 2019 @ 5:51pm
cool mode, I'm in the 300's of the eposiods. Long time listener
Franz Josef 14 Apr, 2019 @ 4:33pm
Just curious, what is the waerod retinue meant to represent?
ming bag 14 Apr, 2019 @ 4:19pm
@Charlemagne Mods that change the core gameplay can't be made achievement/ironman compatible
thumb 14 Apr, 2019 @ 4:12am
everyone has Crohn's Disease
Big Gay Not Ok 13 Apr, 2019 @ 5:40pm
If it isnt already can you make it ironman compatible? thank u for this great mod
Aenno 13 Apr, 2019 @ 1:50pm
...but, I think, Irish being fractured to one-county minors, and Deira/Northumbria having about 6-7K of troops in 800, being something about it.
Aenno 13 Apr, 2019 @ 1:30pm
Playing game on Observer, I noticed Deira expand to Ireland and Pictland quite fast. I'm not sure why is that.
Gammonator 13 Apr, 2019 @ 11:20am
oh thank god! I've been waiting for the Saxons in CK2 to get some love for ages! Thanks!
Hariti Khatri 13 Apr, 2019 @ 11:12am
"There is no cure, as it's an autoimmune disease that is still outside the scope of modern medicine"

To be fair, in this game you can cure cancer and syphilis, using magic, so I don't think it even attempts to simulate biomedical reality.
vosegus  [author] 13 Apr, 2019 @ 7:52am
@Polbork that's an awesome mod! I subscribed and built a compatch for it here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1711404285
Polbork 12 Apr, 2019 @ 10:24pm
@stonengineer I was using Anglo-Saxon flag swapper. That's a bummer, I guess.
vosegus  [author] 12 Apr, 2019 @ 8:23pm
@Polbork Wessex and Mercia should start with the Witan succession laws; maybe there's an incompatibility with another mod you're using?

@bflet12 I used Aethelflaed as an example to explain my decision ;-)

@Kreg this is the only mod I've written, the others I included in my description were examples of mods I use that I know are compatible with HAS
vosegus  [author] 12 Apr, 2019 @ 8:23pm
Thank you for all the support! I'll correct the spelling of Crohn's disease in a patch shortly :-)

@grbone99 I know there are several mods that move the start date back to the times of pre-christian Anglo-Saxons, so those might be worth checking out as well! Depending on the desire and complexity, I could throw together a version for them.

@Xanadu-King While that does sound amazing, I simply don't have the time to implement a change to that scale. I chose to make Britain tribal to mimic the fyrd system, but also forced most of the holdings to start of significantly more advanced than a regular tribal holding to mimic settlements. Also, you'll notice the more significant counties start with cities and temples, which helps cement their economic and political importance.
Heavywaterr 12 Apr, 2019 @ 7:31pm
My ansestors would be proud
Kreg 12 Apr, 2019 @ 12:53am
Could you make a collection with your mods? I'm very interested in them.
lematch 11 Apr, 2019 @ 10:40pm
very minor: should be e.g. Aethelflaed, Lady of Mercia as she's an example not an explanation
