This in fact is worse than having everything despawn with remvoed body, as most of the clothings will be effectively ruined after a proper gunfight. If this had dropped items just before the body was removed, then yes. Also this looks stupid so cons > pros.

Could you make a mod that drops clothing from body when ruined? I think that would be an awesome mod? Maybe you can use your script that you already made for your DropItemsBeforeDying?

That's ok. We have some development experience, so we can update it if need be, I have tested and confirmed it's still working well on 1.19 with no apparent conflicts or crash logs (and we're using around 130 mods) :)

Hello, seems like since the 1.05, weapons are not droping when you dying sometimes.. Maybe that's come from your mod, I dunno :) Peace <3

Ok, so it works fine, no update need. In my tests happened that zombies ruined my backpack. So be aware that ruined items de-spawn very quickly. You may consider GraveCross mod. Anyway still this mod works as intended.

Please try to load it first or test without CF and VanilaPlus. My mod is quite simple, only one method override and calling super class so I can't imagine what could be the problem. Sorry for inconvenience.

No, there was nothing, just the gun. I tested it again and I found the body but it was still wearing all the clothes, nothing dropped. Didn't log out. Mod list is CF; VanillaPlusPlusMap; bzReload; and DropItemsBeforeDying.

Did you find your body with clothes? After how much time? What is your mod list on server? Types.xml setting for the backpack you were using?

Just tested this mod and it didn't work for me. Followed the instructions but all my gear was gone apart from the rifle I dropped when I went unconscious. Any ideas what the problem could be?

I died again. and this time I bolted for my body.. roughly under an hour to get there and the pack was there. So I dont know..

Because only guns have higher lifetime on ground. See type.xml and adjust if you need for backpaks etc. So items would persist on ground same way if you drop it.
