Yeah I didn‘t know that in the past. Also nobody reported that.
Crashes also can happen because UG bug.
I won‘t support tpf 1 anymore, sorry.

Under Linux, case sensitivity of file names is important. This mod doesn't follow that rule. I tried making symlinks for the offending files but after the third crash, I unsubscribed.

Not really. I want it too since we can now place cities on mountains so a cable car is useful.
Just their shit implementation... and modular stations are extremely difficult to mod.

I guess you can write to UG and see if they have any ideas (or are willing to implement it themselfs)... The more I think about how it can be implemented, the harder it looks. Thank you for your replay (I assume you are getting mad at people asking you to port this to TpF2 already :steamhappy: )

There is still no upgrade button. Therefore no possibility to change stations etc. once placed.
It's shit for cable cars. No progress at the moment.

Any progress? I think it would be possible to count the terminals as road terminals and tell people not to put more than two at a station... The joy of having a cable car is worth he risk :steamhappy:

I do not know how to implememt it by script - would have to model and set up every version by hand.
If you want to add some: be free to implement it and send it to me or send me a message if you want to rerelease it.
I’m working on other things, therefore no additions planned (also because tpf 2)

This is really impressive achievement!

Patience is required, and placing of pylons very important. You'll need quite a few attempts before you get it right. Do read the instructions.

The cable ways are limited by the max steepness of roads (?), this limits usefulness. But all the same incredible achievement!

Hi. English would be nice... if I understand deepL correctly:
30 km/h is not to slow, it's (more than) realistic. A normal gondola has 5 m/s which is 18 km/h. People in TPF are walking about 5-7 km/h which is nearly double the normal speed.
Therefore doubling the speed of the cable car -> 30 km/h. It's even faster then realistic so normally you have to complain about it being to fast :D

If you want to change it: Change it in the street file and in the gondola files

Good job, fantastic mod.
But, is there any possibility to increase cables/tracks inclination ?
I'm currently playing on a map with very tall mountain, and it will be perfect if we could add cable with a very much more inclination, not so limited than the roads are...

sooo awesome. loving it. had a crash when trying to modify a station but every mod does that when you're careless like i was. can't wait for a gondola lift style passenger vehicle and more people to be able to get onto the vehicles

No it only adds objects.
The (fixed) incompatibility with multi track mod was the OTHER mod which has overwritten the vanilla files.

No it was a incompatibility with the multi track mod.

Regarding the lenght of the street:
Personally I hate it when it‘s too long because it needs more space and cannot be connected directly to the street. You can send me a screenshot of your scenario and if I like it maybe I will increase the lenght.
At the moment I don‘t see the reason to do so.

A great mod - thank you. I am not certain but could the problem with freight be caused by the stations being passenger stations? Goods cannot be loaded (but can be unloaded) at bus stops if that is what the terminals is based on? Would be it also be possible to slightly increase the length of the road on the terminals as I find it very hard to connect.

I checked it and he still overrides the vanilla streets. I will do an extra one to fix it.

- In the same picture: Functions signs for the direction of bending for the Support Tower are not confused? At stations, the "plus" bends upwards, while at the mast for some reason downwards.

- With the end station - for sure, with the intermediate one - probably.
- With freight could not send a single unit of cargo. I put the terminals close, but the load did not appear on the lines from these stations.

But the station is built and can continue to play.
