Ah a shame, this mid would have been perfect..
Dr Jimothy 31 Jan, 2021 @ 6:45am
If anyone who knows how wants to pick this up or make something similar, please do. Making the midgame and endgame more of a sh*tfest is always welcome as far as I'm concerned.
Gamer_Schnitzel 17 May, 2020 @ 2:04am
nearly all of my pops died, so yeah it still works
H̷e̵r̶r̵ ̶W̵i̶n̶g̶e̸l 15 May, 2020 @ 7:20am
will this ever be updated?
and does it still work?
TOAST 26 Apr, 2020 @ 3:01pm
May I add that it keeps the modifier and it activates randomly throughout being "gone" so don't use it, it just skips our lord and savior Khaan!
TOAST 26 Apr, 2020 @ 11:23am
"secret country" seems to be ignored, it just infects 90% of the empire over time then kills roughly 80% of you till it's effects are removed. Prepare colony ships on colonies then hope one world is bugged and doesn't receive it. A Gaia on my playthrough now got spared. 300+ food lucky one. Repopulation is not as fun however, i may disable this for now till there's acually info who this country is, stasis pod research to preserve every planet with at least 5 (balacing) and like 2 more. Last 3 playthrough have ALL been plague midgame, annoying to say the least one of them killed me.
Gavril 16 Jun, 2019 @ 6:36pm
It's.... probably dead. Apparently the author hasn't been on steam for the last month. :(
I'll take a look at it and see if I can clean it up a bit. No guarantees though. I'm also fairly busy, and so I will not be able to add what isn't already there (aside from fixing things). If someone would like to take it up afterward or help in the mean time, I have no problem handing it over to someone else.
BingBadaCOOM 2 Jun, 2019 @ 8:55pm
My game ended prematurely because of the plague. I like it, but it lacks refinement. Needs a hint system through events or something. Also some planets depopulate then become empty the game doesn't notify you, it probably should. Not fond of everyone's planets just getting plague modifier on crisis spawn too. Would be nice if it could spread slowly like CK2 - but probably not do-able.
Saruem 30 May, 2019 @ 12:44pm
Fun mod, i enjoyed having to systematically commit genocide in order to find he culprit. Looking forward to any possible future updates.
SamulCase 29 May, 2019 @ 1:09pm
I have subscribed and look forward to future improvements and content additions. Please don't leave this on the burner for too long!
Cloudedway 25 May, 2019 @ 4:48am
me and a friend tried out the mod finally and damn does it put pressure on you to find the culprit fast we tried and failed quickly we managed to find him but the other AI that were around us didnt even try to help witch was a shame to say but before that a prompt popped up saying the culprit stopped and enjoyed loughing at us in a weakend state but what hurt us was the declane of our pops after we had survived still we enjoyed it.
FlamingBlade 21 May, 2019 @ 12:10pm
fun times when your galactic ascendancy dies to a plague in 2449 after transcending mortal consciousness

>also i found the culprit and it didn't stop the plague, are you actually going to fix this or not
TheProdigalSon 20 May, 2019 @ 1:43pm
I personally think its a little difficult but im also a trash tier Stellaris player. I think it adds a great concept to the game, 1.It would make since that a evil enough empire would use biological warfare. 2. For me mid game has always been nothing but expanding and minor wars to push back your neighbors or eat them and thats boring. I also wanted to know if you planed on adding more or was it just the plague? If you play to add more I have some ideas.
Kirby 16 May, 2019 @ 10:02pm
Great plague seems to wipe out most of the empires in the galaxy and if u do somehow survive your extremely crippled. There will be barely any other AI empires left alive to contend with. :steamfacepalm:
CaptainKampfkeks 15 May, 2019 @ 6:57am
This mod is, first and foremost, a work in progress. It's not finished yet. The problems are noted by the author and he works on fixing them. Just chill a bit and practice your patience.
S 14 May, 2019 @ 1:40pm
The Great Plague will kill an entire planet and make the entire galaxy hate you. There is nothing that can be done to stop it. It does NOT add to the game, it ruins it.
Reivell 12 May, 2019 @ 1:25pm
why plague can kill machine civilization?
Jiven 9 May, 2019 @ 12:12am
Yeah, the Plague is way too difficult to solve on a big galaxy.
Haze931 4 May, 2019 @ 10:23am
the plague is too OP!balance it PLZ
Prins of Seum 4 May, 2019 @ 7:37am
As others have pointed out, it's just too stupidly overpowered. Half of my population died in less than 8 years and many of my planets went uncolonised ............ My empire died quicker than the one I was bombarding with Armageddon stance despite the fact that they had 4 planets and me 9.
PS : I still think that the fact that my purifier or inward perfectionnist gets infected despite the fact that they have no contact with the rest of the galactic population makes no sense, just saying
Desy 4 May, 2019 @ 5:58am
For what its worth you can disable it by using the command "event mmc_tests.5" that at least removed the plague from all planets and the diplomatic debug was also gone.
A-tuin 28 Apr, 2019 @ 9:31am
Oh, big bug i forgot to mention, it doesn't stop once it says it has stopped so.. once it starts all the planets in the galaxy start to slowly die. You should fix that.
A-tuin 28 Apr, 2019 @ 9:26am
Good mod, too hardcore i think as many have said but i understand the feeling you want to impulse. Anyway i think it would improve a lot with more in game info, clues about the "guilty" empire, ways to slow it down etc... right now it's just "go conquer everyone"

But with some improvements can be great, keep up the work
kuba_mar 26 Apr, 2019 @ 2:33pm
Can you make a description that describes what the mod actually does and how it works without putting "a secret" every 2 lines?
Huon23 26 Apr, 2019 @ 12:38pm
Pretty cool mod and concept, although I agree it is a bit too hardcore for me at the moment. Going to stay subscribed because I'm really excited to see what other crisis you'll put out in the future!
Cookie-chan 24 Apr, 2019 @ 6:29am
Since the only way to end this plague is through sheer military might, I'll have to disable and quite honestly, rate the mod negatively, having it affect mechanical beings seems like a cheap excuse so it can kill robots/synths too, one would figure an empire that can shape life on the biological ascension level could track down a virus, the CB thing for ending it also seems random as well, and might not even work considering a lot of people are complaining their worlds still keep dying even after the crisis is "done".
TOAST 22 Apr, 2019 @ 12:38am
Ruined my playthrough, honestly. It would've been fine if it stopped when it said so. I was recolonizing 8 worlds, all of em died within the year. Now just 3 robots, Khaan and a Hive Mind Devouring Swarm remain. Gonna disable it for now, I'm not in the mood to debug 100 mods. An emergency option to remove all of the modifiers maybe? ^^
TOAST 21 Apr, 2019 @ 11:31pm
It said it would be over, but people keep dying! The modifier's still there, on every single planet. Robots (and 1 devouring Swarm, with 360 pops) seem to surive, something's wrong here!
Chirumiru ShiRoz 20 Apr, 2019 @ 9:50am
I think the FFA is cool, but it should be an end-game thing over mid-game lol.
Yagami  [author] 20 Apr, 2019 @ 9:21am
Thank you for everyone for the feedbacks! I really appreciate i. Its clear to me now i made this crisis too "hardcore". Also i want to say my vision was give a player an epic free for all style war in a chaotic and dying galaxy. I understand some players want to solve this scientificly or peacefully, but that was not my intention. Of course if the people want to solve this in alternative routes thats my lack of good narrative not the players fault at all.
aZmoDen 20 Apr, 2019 @ 9:06am
this reminds me of imperium galactica 1. The key difference is once the cure was found, it also gave you the knowledge of who did it (scientific fingerprint?) perhaps that could also be the thing.
Follow the clues to get an early stab at the people responsible, also thereby discovering the cure either by raiding their planets (raid stance) or via army takeover of their planet.
I still think tho, that if you find the cure (scientific yay!) you should also uncover the culprit
Meterex137 20 Apr, 2019 @ 8:30am
@Wraith To be fair, they had to deal with the fact that their entire empire was broiling in rebellion at the time. A rebellion in which everyone who was not the same species as them was actively trying to kill them by both plague and blade. Quite a bit harder to deal with than another nation trying to poison you. :/
Wraith 20 Apr, 2019 @ 7:16am
apparently people forgot about the precursor that died off because a plague only affected them.....
Kora 20 Apr, 2019 @ 6:39am
completly broken and unbeatable if you play as an peacefull empire.
ANASTASIA 19 Apr, 2019 @ 7:12pm
I have no idea how to end this plague.... Every other empire has been vassalized from the wars with finding a culprit CB or already doomed by the plague only except two fallen empires and a horde with great khan, yet I still have finding culprit cb against fallen empires ...
and also I got a message that says the plague is stopped, but nothing changed.
CaptainKampfkeks 19 Apr, 2019 @ 4:48pm
Well said, Shiba_Inu, well said.
Aþi 19 Apr, 2019 @ 4:33pm
I Agree fully with @JohnMrMoe, these are Space Empires, they all have faced Diseases and epidemics on their homeworld and have risen (mostly) above superstitious beliefs that disease comes out of no where, or is a divine punishment. These are post our Era, they have medical techniques and treatments that we can't begin to dream about. They all would have techniques that would stop the flow of a disease. They would have Quarantines so the fact that we can't use one on an infected planet is a bit silly.
Also, how about Border Policy? when the Disease starts we should be able to edit a Disease Border Policy, like there could be an option of closing our borders all together or like screening everyone that comes in, or not even caring and letting everyone in.

I still really like this mod, just needs some fleshing out.

JohnMrMoe 19 Apr, 2019 @ 2:57pm
A mid game crisis like a plague sounds really cool in theory. But seeing as there is no way to science a cure, no event to follow any progress into the matter, it is sort of reduced to a "permanent declining populace".

If you think there is a moderatly easy way to divine who is indeed responsible, you have to remember you implemented it, and as such don't have to look through endless menues in search of any semblance of a clue as to how it is supposed to be corrected.

Furthermore, you don't cure a plague by killing its origin. You stop a plague by sciencing forth a resistance or cure. Which berefts the crisis of the dimplomatic nightmare it might be if SOMEONE gained the cure, but not everyone. Could you withhold the cure in lue of money? Could a fanatic purifier find a cure, and then just keep shut about it? Would not those that have the cure and withhold it be target of similar wars? Also, there are no countermeasures against the plague. Why can't you quarantine planets.
maxxal22 19 Apr, 2019 @ 2:09pm
Hi, the crisis just ended (notification and all that shizzle). However, the plague still pops up and infects previously clean planets
Incel Riot Studios 19 Apr, 2019 @ 1:57pm
This just wiped out literally everyone in the galaxy.
Rainy Day Gamer 19 Apr, 2019 @ 11:01am
Wow this mod is hard core second play with it and 4 empires have fallen so far and no one can find the bad guy
Rainy Day Gamer 19 Apr, 2019 @ 6:05am
This is really fun and hard
I was the culprit and a FE declared war in me I died of cource but i likes the game.
Pausedmenu 18 Apr, 2019 @ 7:05pm
is this save game friendly?
MrRobot 18 Apr, 2019 @ 6:31pm
i got the "plague has ended, whoever did it got away with it" event and the planets that werent wiped out had the plague modifier removed, but the planets i lost still had the plague modifier even after recolonising them
Yagami  [author] 18 Apr, 2019 @ 5:42pm
@ParakeetRiot

Thx fixed :)
ParakeetRiot 18 Apr, 2019 @ 4:50pm
In your mod introduction it says, "Without no further delay..." This sentence uses double negatives, so you should say, "Without further delay...." or "With no further delay...."
Yagami  [author] 18 Apr, 2019 @ 2:40pm
@Good at Being Bad

Do you mean the plague globally ended the culprit found, and after you recolonized the planet and got plague?
Or the plague still ongoing, everyone died on the planet and after that you recolonized?
MrRobot 18 Apr, 2019 @ 2:06pm
So, i had the plague happen and I lost planets, had my mineral economy crash (again) and after i recolonised the planets, i lost them to the plague again. Even after the plague had ended. turns out the game never removed the plague modifier from those worlds. please fix?
Yagami  [author] 18 Apr, 2019 @ 6:01am
@last wishes3297

When its ready, im not gona promise anything. I working on it.

@Stieno X
