I've alerted Peter of that compatibility issue, and he coded some compatibility for next version, that should hopefully solve the issue.

The problem is reproduced when the Japanese language pack is enabled.

When you get around working on it, could I suggest flipping the attribute progress around?
Currently, the first number in skill points is progress, but for attribute it's points required for next level instead. This makes it a bit hard to parse: it would be easier if attributes also had progress instead.

After the update I got some spam floating info everywhere.
I assume these:
<ShowWorkableInfo>
<ShowWorkableOnlyForSelectedDuplicant>
have something to do with it.

<ShowMaxExpForStats>false</ShowMaxExpForStats>
