after training skrimisher it doesnt have ripjack and says need reckoning ability but its not in this class as i see how to change if its fixable

This might be old, but I can no longer upgrade Skirmisher guns like others (Magnetic, etc). Anyone else get this?

This seems to be broken by today's launcher update. Although it's enabled in the mod manager, when I try to load a save it says it's missing this mod. I'll post here if it starts working again another day.

If one were to use the tricks put forth below by Jahsinha to use this mod to use two of the default hero templates side by side (Say the base game heroes alongside the proficiency ports of them), one would also need to copy over any missing files in the config folder, yes? Anything that would need replaced in the remaining config files after XCOMClassData? For instance, Project Skirmisher has a SoldierSkills ini, a PistolSlot ini, and a SkillfulSkirmishing ini. If I just copied those over to here, after replacing the ClassData file, all of that "new" stuff should work, right?

Is it normal, after the first mission is done, that there is no home base or resistance HQ? I chose the standard option to start at the skirmisher base, but when I first came to the world map it's not there. There's also no option to return to HQ after scanning sites. I think this might be a bug. I mean you need a base to be able to play, don't you? Or will it turn up later?

How would one go about making this compatible with LWOTC? I see below there is a way to replace the class data, but I am not the most tech savvy individual and do not know what to delete and replace, or where to find LOWTC's skirmisher/reaper/templar class data (I wish to use all 3 mods).

The following was in the 'XComClassData' ini file twice. I believe the unintended repeat was the one directly below the AWC abilities function. No idea if it affects gameplay in the slightest, but I thought like mentioning it since I saw it.

What is the correct way? My plan was to delete the class data in Recruitable and paste in Rebalance class data.I have the base line requirements of that mod.

There is is new Rebalance Skirmisher mod( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2840751843) that replaces the Prof Skirmisher -which replaced the base game Skirmisher.
If I download this mod and simply delete the class data and instead use the class data of that mod, will that work? I don’t want lose the actual Proficiency Skirmisher.

If anyone gets new promotion screen by default as missing dependencies you can safely ignore it assuming you are running community promotion screen by default. Just put it on ignored

I believe so. I'll be sure to check that out when I have some spare time. However I did find a mod that fixed the issue for me. And if Skirmisher training isn't there, how would I fix that?

I understand that the skirmisher's animations have been implemented into the mod, however for some reason my skirmisher recruits t-pose when using the wrath or justice skills. Is this an issue that has a fix, or is there no way to fix it currently? Regardless I still can't go without this mod now, skirmishers are just too much fun.

They cant use the ripjack, and the grapple only works on terrain, not enemies.

Tested with no mods and the options dont show up.

Okay, so I was playing around with it, and I basically what I did was I took the Skirmisher skill tree from the Class Data in LWOTC and copied it to this mod. Worked perfectly. So if anyone wants play LWOTC with these and wants 8 tiers, that's the way to do it.

You can add shields to their applicable configuration via 'XCOMClassData". It is not supported natively, however.

"Riqured' Retribution (I assume?) for equip Ripjack. With lower rank of thi "class" I cant use his wristlearm tool? Actually, I cant quip ANYTHING on his secondary weapon slot :\

Skirmisher Animations have been implemented! Justice, Whiplash - even the Skrimisher's run - will now align more appropriately to the traditional Skirmisher.

Ripjack becomes available after meeting the skirmisher class. I hadn't build in additional logic to move that up in light of these guys appearing earlier. I'll add it to the todo list but low in the queue unfortunately.

As a quick note, from my observation this mod does not work correctly with LWOTC, it locks classes out of being able to purchase other skills with AP.

After promotion my Rookie to Skirmisher. I can't equip his Wrist blade. He's secondary slot is empty, and can't place anything there. I saw you have mod for it, but I do use Musashi mods. Is there anything I can do?

Hey, thanks for reaching out. I have that setup on purpose unfortunately because the Justice animation is broken. Run And Gun sticks to the generally theme of mobility for the skirmishers so I made the swap. I apparently removed that note from the description at some point but have added it back in. Thanks for understanding!

I've noticed a bug.

Instead of the Justice Ability, a newly trained GTS Skirmisher will start with the Run and Gun ability.

Is there a way this can be fixed?
