That is correct, as long as you keep the mod specific formatting and values in tact.
If you replace the class data correctly, yes that should work
There is is new Rebalance Skirmisher mod( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2840751843) that replaces the Prof Skirmisher -which replaced the base game Skirmisher.
If I download this mod and simply delete the class data and instead use the class data of that mod, will that work? I don’t want lose the actual Proficiency Skirmisher.

I believe so. I'll be sure to check that out when I have some spare time. However I did find a mod that fixed the issue for me. And if Skirmisher training isn't there, how would I fix that?
Ah, really? dang. The animations should have fixed that. Do they have the "Skirmisher Training" ability in column one?
Hm, they used to not, but I believed I had fix this. Let me know if still an issue.

You may need to meet the skirmisher faction first for the ripjack to appear.

I do not believe I implemented Parkour
Tested with no mods and the options dont show up.
No plans to update but yeah that'll be the exact fix if anyone else needs it - Glad it worked out.

You can add shields to their applicable configuration via 'XCOMClassData". It is not supported natively, however.

Yes, in 'XComClassData.ini' set NumInDeck and NumInForcedDeck both to 0.
Skirmisher Animations have been implemented! Justice, Whiplash - even the Skrimisher's run - will now align more appropriately to the traditional Skirmisher.

Ripjack becomes available after meeting the skirmisher class. I hadn't build in additional logic to move that up in light of these guys appearing earlier. I'll add it to the todo list but low in the queue unfortunately.

Hey, thanks for reaching out. I have that setup on purpose unfortunately because the Justice animation is broken. Run And Gun sticks to the generally theme of mobility for the skirmishers so I made the swap. I apparently removed that note from the description at some point but have added it back in. Thanks for understanding!
Instead of the Justice Ability, a newly trained GTS Skirmisher will start with the Run and Gun ability.
Is there a way this can be fixed?
