This character is GREAT. I was expecting something of a meme or a joke, but no, this is the real deal. I can tell a great amount of thought has gone into this, and into getting the balance at least in the ballpark of reasonable.

I especially like how it makes me reconsider a few certain relics. Velvet Choker has never jived with my tendency to play a gazillion cards per turn, but it's a fine choice for Poker. Frozen Eye never seemed useful enough to justify the price, but I've never seen a character care so much about what's on top of the draw pile. Literally the first time I've bought it in hundreds of StS hours.

Took a bit to wrap my head around the new card type, but once I did it's a really fun and unique way to play! Would it be ok if I made a port of this character for the Slay the Spire board game?

I downloaded a bunch of classes a couple days ago and this one is honestly my favourite. It's so flavourful and distinctive, with a different kind of strategy. Kudos

@旅渚 Oops, it was a silly mistake of mine. Thanks for the report, and it's fixed with the v1.0.7 update.

Ah sorry for my carelessness, I have tested without other mods again and found it's due to Broken Clock, not Nilry's Codex.

@旅渚 Sorry, I couldn't reproduce the bug. Maybe it only happens while playing with other mods? Can you give me your mod list?

Bug feedback: Wild Card produced by Nilry's Codex can produce Heart Poker Cards.

@Sagil Loaded Dice are the same as normal dice, except you can roll numbers higher than 6.
However, there was a bug where you would roll the same numbers repeatedly. This should be fixed with the new update, v1.0.6. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Exactly how are Loaded Dice working? They seem to roll a 1 most of the time...

If anyone is wondering about unlocks not working, it's because of the recent BaseMod update(Hide unnecessary unlock bar). Poker Player does not have any unlocks, and this update made you not gain any experience for mods without any unlocks.

However, the unlock progress is still shown in the character select screen, which causes confusion. I think the progress should be hidden there too, but since it's BaseMod and not my mod, I don't know when it will be fixed.

为什么每次游戏结束后无法获得解锁经验？其他mod任务都能正常解锁的，是Mod有冲突？有什么办法吗？

5/5 Originality: Truely feels different and unique in a fun way.

3/5 Balance: the character currently is way stronger than the base champions. Suggestion: Nerf clubs damage, as there seems to be no good reason to play diamonds right now anyway if clubs do the same damage but against all enemies.

1/5 Base-game integration: The mod throws away many base mechanics. As such, it's very unique, but often it feels very disconnected. Mainly, it feels weird that weaken/fragile on you or vulnerable on enemies has barely any effect on you. This mod would be even more entertaining (and more intuitive to play) if poker damage&block would be modified by the aforementioned status effects.
