Thanks, I sat looking after the info again in more detail and this time found. I would have probably overlooked the crown, as it was night at the time and it was a piece next to the skeleton in the sand.

No, read the lore, the people of Skyrim don't actually know what caused them to go blind. When the Snow Elves fled underground the Dwemer agreed to house the Snow Elves but at a high cost. The Snow Elves were forced to eat toxic fungi which rendered them blind. They then was used as slaves by the dwemer. Toxic fungi became a daily part of the Snow Elves diet. Or Falmer now, they were not the majestic Snow Elf race anymore.

They were blinded with poison it even said so in skyrim so Jordan you is wrong.

Also, at what point did I say they where captured? I didn't, end of story goodbye the end.

they weren't captured by the dwemer, they were taken in, fed the fungi which made them blind, then they were forced to be the dwemer slaves, i don't want to sound like a doosh but i hate when people make big statements that are wrong

you should make a snow elf home or something. theres only two Snow elf house mods existing.

That is the reason. also the snow elves wanted the artifact under saarthal.

I always thought the Snow Elves and Nords were allies at first, then the elves found that the Nord population was growing too fast, so they sacked saarthal, and that was why Ysgramor waged war against the elves.

Make a dwemer monument! With like a special set of Dwemer armor, or a unique weapon! :D
