Can I ask, is there a reason you don't want to add this functionality to the CE gas masks?

Thank you! Seems like it is running much better now. But now I don't see the masks in my production queue as options to build.

It was two mods that were particularly egregious, Altered Carbon, and another seemingly unrelated mod. I can't remember which. But I will test it again. Thank you.

@DragonBlade94 So sorry it was causing problems, I've changed aroudn on the harmony logic and it *should* run more smoothly now and also added option to disable all custom logic in mod menu if you just want to use it as a dumb item. TY for the feedback.

@DragonBlade94 did you save any of the calls and any guess on what mod it was conflicting with? It is running smooth on my *realtively* light 20 mods save.

So I was running this mod and found it was making other mods call a bunch of relationship manager calls, and lagging out performance significantly. Destroyed all masks from this mod and uninstalled. Now I am getting better perf.

Acceptable trade-off compared to the full one. Guess we will no longer have face masks, but gas masks. Gonna try it in my next run.

@Big Cheese not automatically, but you now got buttons to equip to and from from inventory :moxes:

@Stim The One I bumped it to 65% now, the vanilla cloth mask got 50%, I want it to be betetr, but not OP.

Is there a mod that makes it so my colonists as well as every pawn equip a gasmask (if they have it in their inventory) automatically if there's gas nearby or harming them

Think this needs a stat update again. I remember the base gas mask having no detriment and 80% toxic environment resistance while this has 50%... which is on par with the face mask... and that thing can be made out of hyperweave to be even stronger, to add to how it does not block other things.

@Hotaninja You can use Combat Extended loadouts for that. If you have a gas mask specified in the loadout, but not in the apparel policy, the pawn will carry the item but won't wear it unless you force wear manually.

Does anyone know of a mod that will allow us to carry a gas mask in our pawns inventory and then allow us to quickly equip it on them in case of a gas attack?

Updated not to 1.5. Confimerd children can wear the masks. The masks disappairing on zoom out is a game LoD thing that I can't affect.

There is a small bug where if you zoom out far the helmet will disappear.

@Eversor thank you for bringing this to my attention. Indeed the new toxic enviroment stat should be a positive *resistance* value instead of a negative *sensitivity* value like it used to be.
This thing predates vanilla gas masks and 50% used to be a pretty high number when used together with other hazmat-gear, but if that is where the devs put the bar now I'll raise mine as well so that this thing is not useless.
Hotfix up now.

I noticed something odd. Even if I equip Gas masks, the resistance value stays at 0%. Maybe it is because U gave the Gas Mask a resistance Value of -50%. It should be +50% Toxic Environment resistance. In this state you make the gas mask useless with your mod. And why give it only+50% in the first place? The Vanilla gas mask gives +80%.

Updated to 1.4 now, sorry about the delay. It should work with toxicfallout again now! I removed the helmet versions of the mask and you can now wear it with all helmets and hats that can be worn with the blindfold.

Great mod, but shouldn't the advanced gas mask cover the eyes and mouth as well as the head? And shouldn't the regular gas mask only cover the eyes and mouth, and be wearable with hats that don't cover the face?

@Denneisk from what I read the autobongs just applies the smokeleaf effect in AOE which it would be pretty easy to add som resistance for, but that would also make it harder for your pawns to enjoy a join while not fighting. :P

CE armor values are ludicrously low. The normal advanced helmet has an armor rating of 8 compared to this mod's advanced helmet rating of 1.2 when made of plasteel.
