Hi,
OPCOS is under new management (Baseplate) via his Halo Community Modding Discord.
You can find the discord within OPTRE's Discord, linked in the description. Hopefully you may find some way to help out with it and learn there.

As of writing this, the original authors have no intention to continue development, and thus this workshop page will lie dormant. Whether Baseplate takes this somewhere in the future, I am unaware.

I hope this clarifies some details and redirects any questions you may have, so they may not fall into the void.

Hello,
I understand this project has been indefinitely paused. I would like to offer my hand in updating some of the assets on the account I like the cool textures. I am new to modding but have enough of an understanding to have drafted at least a fix so far (I just started) for the ODST helmets. Please let me know if you would like to accept or decline my offer.

The armor is from OPTRE, which allows retextures. If you want to use the textures from OPCOS, you may do so. We would prefer if you would credit us if you do use our textures.

Very friendly heads up that as of May 18th, 2021, Operation Trebuchet received an update that has broken OPCOS' Warthog textures, as they were shifted to an entirely new model.

As of March 7th of the same year, the mod has suspended development for the currently forseeable future.

It should also be noted that, at some point in the eventual future, more of this mod's content is highly likely going to be broken by changes that are coming to Operation TREBUCHET, mostly revolving around cleaning up older assets and fixing issues therein.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, and for the delay in notifying this page about the suspension of development. Thanks for using OPCOS, hopefully we'll someday resume our regularly scheduled shitposting.

Is there a way to request a skin for armor, if not thats fine. Really love the halo stuff and love the paint you got going on now for all the armors looks really nice, just thought to ask if I could get a request on having you guys make another one if possible.

What it would be is just a full blue ODST suit with shark teeth on the helmet with white visor, that would be it.

No. First, that's out of the scope of OPCOS as that is an OPTRE thing. Second, that's a very tall task. Arma's engine does not provide good support for multispecies, let alone different height soldiers (look at the Mjolnir armor for why that's an issue).

can u guys please make other species (if possible) we love you work and are really looking forward to the next content update! we really want species like grunts, jackals or brutes and i think i speak for most people here when i say i wanna use grunts in my game for cannon fodder! :steamhappy: thanks again for everything u guys do for this mod its awesome!

You are wrong there, but I didn't respond to his post in the first place due to the fact I have no models in this mod in the first place, aside from some old helmet attachments that's been outclassed.

Oh yeah, that's something that was planned from the start! Luckily, that might be sooner on the list then what you think. Insurrectionists should expect (hopefully) some vehicle re-textures soon.

I would like to see this mod recreate some of the factions that Opcan had (Colonial Police, Colonial Militia, and PMC's etc). I would also like to see some re-textures of certain vehicles for the Insurrectionists like the Scorpion tank. Burgs also did some re-textures of base Arma 3 vehicles for both factions, it would be cool to see some of those re-imagined as well. However, this is a lot of work for one person and these are just my wishes not everyone else's. Either way I look forward to watching this mod grow and expand, good luck rev.

I'll most likely end up doing that for the colored variants of ODST armor, considering it'd be redundant to make a whole new set with a different shoulder variation. I like the look of it though! Consider it on the list.

You can run both OPCOS and OPCAN, if you so choose. Will be redundant eventually though.

Suggestion: make it stand-alone or at least make the dependency thing clearer on your Workshop page. This add-on actually requires a file called "OPTRE_Core" (or something like that) which I assume is part of Operation Trebuchet mod.
