I don't think you can built it without the DLC.
But the MK5 is free of DLC and got similar performance if you wanna try that instead.

Rover is awesome - huge upgrades in cockpit visibility and telementary / UI for first person from Mk 3 version. Though sadly, I'll have to stick to mark 3 as the size upgrade means it no longer fits in my ship :(

I'll probably make a mining rover myself at some point - though I doubt I'll be able to do as good a job :)

why does it enables itself after a while of being turned off?

If you're talking about the drone, then you can remove stone from the sorters 'whitelist' or disable the function that makes it pull items through them and the ejectors. I believe it's called "Collect all" or something along those lines.

Is there a way for it to stop spitting out stone?

Hia Pang. The thrusters are there to help it move up steep hills when it carries a full load, or help it brake when going down hill.

The drone needs to be docked to the truck to see it in the list of blocks to add to the control panel.

You mean on the drone? If I recall, the timer block should include:
1. Batteries group - Recharge ON/OFF
2. the Connector - switch lock.
3. Systems group - ON/OFF

If on the rover, button 6 should be the drone's remote control set to "Control"

Hey Funky Could you help me set up the automatic dissengage system for button 6. i built in survival via projector and am struggling in adding the right groups.

They dose it turn its self back on after i turn it off.

Not that I am aware of, there shouldn't be any issues since it's just a regular rover and a mining drone (with some scripts for LCD's). However I haven't actually trid these in MP since I very rarely play MP.

Is there any way , this bp can cause glitches in mp after the last update?

Since you asked so nicely I added a component list. May not be totally 100% accurate but should be close enough.

I love your designs. They're the best mining setups I've used. Is there any way you'd be able to post a total component count for both the miner and rover? I plan on printing these on a server without scripts.

I could go and make a basic one using the same setup from the MK3 rover. No idea when that will be tho.

IMHO you should make a non DLC version for others that dont have the money or protesting Steam

Hi. You will have to manually add the Remote Control with the "control" function to the control panel.
As for the timer block, sometimes it seems building things with a projector makes the groups disappear so you may have to re-create them.
the drone uses a group called "M4 Systems" that have all the thrusters, gyros, lights, ejectors and ore detector in it.
The timer itself got "M4 Systems" set to on/off as well as the connector set to "Switch Lock"

Awsome rover but Im running into an issue. Constructed in survival with projections and the nanite mod before constructing your m4 drone but 6 is not working and the timer block is not leting me take control what actions is the timer block supposed to run?
