I'll probably make a mining rover myself at some point - though I doubt I'll be able to do as good a job :)
I prefer not to add people but if you really want to then maybe I could add you to discord or something.
1. Batteries group - Recharge ON/OFF
2. the Connector - switch lock.
3. Systems group - ON/OFF
If on the rover, button 6 should be the drone's remote control set to "Control"

Since you asked so nicely I added a component list. May not be totally 100% accurate but should be close enough.
Hi. You will have to manually add the Remote Control with the "control" function to the control panel.
As for the timer block, sometimes it seems building things with a projector makes the groups disappear so you may have to re-create them.
the drone uses a group called "M4 Systems" that have all the thrusters, gyros, lights, ejectors and ore detector in it.
The timer itself got "M4 Systems" set to on/off as well as the connector set to "Switch Lock"
