If you're having trouble lighting an igniter on a cave floor, or mud, the latest update made it so litter doesn't seem to like to stick to those areas, so just put down concrete or some other flooring and it should work just fine.

Was really looking for something like this!
There is one perfectly non evil use: stockpiling trash in one room and setting it on fire with molotovs is more efficient and less tedious than queueing burning bills at the furnace. And a tile that automatically sets fire to everything at a flick of a switch is even more efficient than drafting a pawn, equipping it with molotovs, and send hum/her to set stuff on fire. Well, non evil depending on your definition of trash.

now i can clean kill all rider (trap all of them in trap block then lock them and burn them all). in medium raid, it can be problematic to clean the aftermath . even my greatest doctor cant harvest all of those organs
