Thank you!
Believe it or not, trying to port the recolors was my first attempt but the way they set up their database for uniforms has changed a lot. The color scheme from here isn't one to one sadly
I was actually looking into porting these mods as well. But I think my RPFM isn't updated so, I'll have to look into that.
As long as the Silence and the Fury doesn't alter the way Uniform Colors are displayed, you should be fine regardless! Happy Skaven hunting
I figured it out and am currently using this mod. Looks really nice. Thank you.
This color scheme should work no matter what units have been added unless it's regiments of reknown. I noticed that all the Kroxigor units have changed as well because of the new update but I think I choke that up to the new DLC that CA has put out. I seen forum posts mentioning this bug. You'll have to wait on CA to update.
I'm going to assume yes, I don't personally play SFO myself but as long as it doesn't affect uniform colors of the Cult of Sotek faction than it should be fine.
I think they actually textured the skinks to look like that. I would try to do some texture work myself but I've been having issues opening DDS (I think?) files in photoshop
I think because the DLC was released relatively recently, it might take awhile for CA to roll out updates and for the community to settle with the changes. I disabled all of the mods I used in all my games. If you have mods like the OvN mod enabled. it might tamper with that. So try to trouble shoot by disabling and enabling mods one by one to see if it'll work
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content
There are many subfolders in there, one for each mod you're subscribed to. The folder name is just a number, so you have to search for which mod is where if you are subscribed to many mods.
For every mod, copy the .pack file into the data folder, usually located here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Total War WARHAMMER II\data
(There is also an image file, it's not needed)
Then RENAME the pack files, it can't have the same name as the 'official' workshop mod file unless you are the author of the mod. Just add "_v2" to every file name. (Only rename the pack files you copied there, not the game standard files that are also in the data folder!)
Now start the launcher, go to mod manager, disable all the 'proper' mods and enable their local copy. Start the game and they should all work unless they were actually broken by the patch.
I wanted to report i finding and i apologize for blowing up your mod for this but after finding this workaround its not your mod, apparently some people like myself are having issues where you can only have 1 mod active and if you try to have more it will disable them in the background. I will post the workaround here for anyone that may have similar issues until CA can get there crap squared away.
sssssssotekk approves
I’m not quite sure why. This only affects uniform colours for one faction. I have no idea why it would conflict with progression icons. My guess might because not all mods have been updated for the new DLC possibly?
So ive found that this doesnt seem to play nice with the Progression icons for buildings any idea why?
