Bruh it doesn't work I can't put helms on my shadow puppets they dont have increased hp they dont move faster only thing that changes is maxwells stats and sanity changes

Hello! I've been using this mod a lot and with Insight, narrowed a bug to this mod in particular. It brings disease back into the game and there wasn't a configuration option for it. I'm not sure if it's an incompatibility with the Insight mod or not but thought I'd let you know as my friend and I have decided with the mechanic it's not very fun to use currently.

This mod makes Wickerbottom's book not effective(the agriculture one is what was tested on this mod for more than 3 games and every single time it doesn't work), please fix.

Can you add an option for everyone to be able to use codex? Not crafting, like when you have the codex you can make shadows no matter what character you are using?

And I have questions for a balanced maxwell build, do you think 100 hp, a bit less sanity regen (I think the 3.9 option) and 5 max shadows is balanced? Maybe some duelist damage/less duelsit cost?

I have a question, did you rewrite the kiting AI or is it the same? My settings will depend on it

I only modified Maxwell health by 100.
2 nighmare fuel 30%
Maxwell duelist health 120
And Smart Kiting.


The others settings still in vanilla settings.
Now i can finally play maxwell solo without being overpowered. Thank you so much again.

I'm currently reworking your mod to make it much better compatible to game updates/other mods and as bug free as possible.
You replaced many orignal files within your mod, instead of using modmain functionality, this is only adviced if there is really no other way.
And instead of changing the shadowbrain, you added "stump" to grass and so on, while this is an easy solution without editing much, it has the sideeffect of not growing with wickerbottoms book and maybe more downsides.

Anyway:
When I'm finished, do you want to update your version and adding me as author? Or should I upload the version on my own? I'm fine with both.

would you mind to add shadow life regeneration and attackspeed too if possible. Thanks!
