wait, if you DO put a medbay as randomguy0400 said, isn't that infinite energy? You don't need a reactor to power a medbay. All you need is an unpaid worker

A version of the Salt reactor or just a control seat needs to be made that looks like the Neural scan interface used by Lt Barclay in the TNG episode The Nth Degree.
