I have it on a AFAS/AFDS pylon that I was able to make. But logically when I hit the launch button it just falls. Is it supposed to be powered or is a free fall object?

How do I go about either building a pylon or attatching this to a non AFAS/AFDS pylon for it to operate properly?

no it has a composite input

how am i supposed to fire it ? the button is on the missile !

i suggest you use a microcontroler that invert the connector output and the button to launch.

so you press the button once it's docked on the plane then whene you detach it fires.
