@Typhoon i do but the common roman names, localisations and clothings are very... ancient... Laziale-Latin makes more sense but hey its a game

tbh this mod probably isnt all that innaccurate, especially since its pretty hard to distinquish when vulgar latin becomes old italian and when old italian becomes each regional dialect, its like the how many grains of sand makes a hill situation if u catch my drift!

@dedjustded well if you use the CPR+ module from HIP you do have roman clothings and helmets and such...

I'm not referring to the units i am referring to the character clothes, but alright i can see your point, i was just making a suggestion since it would add some neat flavor to the roman culture

@puhlik1984 the breton language had no significant latin influence like french did. I have to draw the line somewhere.

@dedjustded those units look nothing like real legionaries but rather like vanilla early french units. The italian units fit because it fits the times clothing - not ancient clothing.

P.s. just checked, the Roman unit flavor pack is called "Roman culture redux"

Heya, sorry if this has been mentioned before but could you please, oh please one day make it so that the Romans wear proper Roman clothes, just having them have same clothes as the other Italian's and the Germanic/Frankish cultures is rather immersion breaking. Thanks ^^ I'm pretty sure that the clothes can be found in the vanilla files but I'm not sure, the ones I'm referring to are in the mods lux Invicta, wtwsms and the Roman unit flavor pack. You know, the ones with togas and etc that have a much more Roman feel

@Bruce that would be way too much work for something that already is ingame. Just expand to the south vassalize yourself to the byzantines and take over. After tier 3 of the reconquest you can form it.

@TheDovahkin, Romanus is the original rome culture, though. Can it not be so that Romanus culture can also form Rome Empire?

@truelove there is one roman character who is the vassal of the pope and controlling those two provinces next to rome.

So wait, does a roman nation of some sort exist from the beginning or is there just a charecter with Roman culture from the beginning?

@Bruce Wayne you need to become emperor of the byzantine empire and then conquor tier 1,2 and 3 of the imperial reqonquest zone

I realized romanus was culture and not a duchy. I figured you made a "beginning of Rome" mod. I am suprised playing as a Romanus character there isn't a decision or at least casus beli to form Rome
