for anyone that needs it, put all the models into the workspace (body, hands, head), then without moving them beforehand, push the default slider all the way up on all of them. They should arrange normally. From there, drag the body in the animation set editor to the head then to the arms to lock them in place.

How do you even use this model? I lock all the bones together, zero them, and they just break. Ive tried it every different way i know, its a mess. Why not just make this model like a normal one?

i didn't do it by accident if that's what you're wondering. this was done not because i wanted it to be difficult, it's because i couldn't do it all as one model. too many bones and the like. this is the best i can do.
