Note : Spawning this ship with the new weapons takes alot longer and will display a frozen loading wheel . Please bare with it , eventually it spawns .

Not sure its been ages since i have checked the scripts likely updated and flipped . If u check the script page theres some functions like [flip or somthing to rotate it .

This is an amazingly well-built ship man
I do have a quick question. Is there a way for me to fix the floorplan script? The screen in CIC is Pretty much unreadable but I'm not sure how to go about fixing it

Known Problems :
- Viper printer not aligned cannot fully print ( more of a gimik , may correct in future
- Turrets can sometimes get stuck on each other ( problem is solvable with my Galactica turret design however overhauling the turrets for pegasus is a very time consuming job may happen in the future )

Update Log : Large overhaul . Was not happy with the finished product for a while so certain areas have been changed to provide better visuals and performance .
- Bow complete redesign and shaping
- Paint overhaul with new textures
-Thruster system complete overhaul uses grav drive for standard acceleration and a small number
of thrusters for manoeuvring into dock
- CIC Door overhaul with new hitboxes
- Flightpod detail and paint overhaul
- Hanger Changes
- Removal of missile script in change for a bow cargo loading bay ( script causes massive lag )

Fixed :
- Signs font size bugged out
- Hotbar was not setup correctly
- Huge performance issues with thrusers
- Lighting engine overload with thruster plumb ( reduced thrusters for grav drive )

But seriously, this is a really good build and i you feel like you can't run it, take it from a guy who ran this, the new galactica, and two basestars, in one server on an office computer.

Hey im not sure if its a glitch but the edges of the viper forges are never complete and i cant get the uncompleted ones out (without a grinder) any help
(also absolutely love the ship and i am making it look really neat with you vipers and raptors) =)

thx :P . a good way to avoid lag is to follow the rules in the discription and also coverting to station and back to ship fixes lots of lag with this beast .

trying to cut down the lag! lol, my rig is very nice but still has a hard time loading it. was going to try to put normal turrets on it to see if that helps the sim.

Wow u are mega CPU bottleknecked mate . u have an 8gb card but a CPU that cant handle this . i dont wanna fill my comments with tech talk but the 1600 is really good . perfect for all current games and well worth the price which is cheap af . It comes with the AMD stock cooler which is really good . if u want a more powerful cooler go for a coolermaster one they are good. ram i got 16gb DDR4 corsair vengence . and an MSI tomahawk motherboard .

I use a second hand Vega 56 8GB and looking at AMD's performance overlay, in this case I'm really CPU limited, which is worrying since when I recently bough these components I considered the Ryzen 1600 only as a "cheap way into the platform" to eventually upgrade to the new CPUs that will likely be presented this week.
Do you use a custom cooler? What RAM and motherboard? I want to check how much the cost difference would have been based on price comparison web sites with long term trends. ;-)

Usually i just follow those world settings sometimes i just restart the world and it runs perfectly fine at 0.65 sim speed . If i conver to station i can get 0.8 . I have a ryzen 5 1600 6core and a 1050ti 4gb . U might not have a strong enough rig. Most likely your graphics card running out of memory since it throttles mine to 100%

Even with all settings that look performance hungry disabled, I cannot spawn her at interactive sim speeds. Looks like either I have not enough CPU threads (6) or too little memory bandwidth (2666Mhz). In any case I found that even conversion to static and back doesn't immediately settle it. It isn't scripts either. I have to wait a few seconds in static grid state before converting back and then it is fine. Does it immediately jump to >0.6 sim speed for you or do you also have some hick-ups immediately after spawning? I would guess the game was running some optimization passes on the grid in the background, like merging armor blocks to larger surfaces and such and that went hay wire on my end.

nah its a mix. Auto save + thruster damage + airtightness i think are the main problems . the ship runs fine and i have done a few battles with her against enemy ships whilst moving as a ship at a solid 0.65 sim speed on my mediocure rig

Oh I did set everything up the way you described: no block limit, thruster damage off, scripts on. I can try again, but it looks like thruster damage isn't solely responsible for the lag.

aye its a bug with the game . best way to avoid this issue is to follow the world settings i mentioned and it wont go to 0.03 . its a bug instead of just build performance and its rather anoying .

Strange, when I converted back from static to dynamic the sim speed did not drop, but stayed at 0.63. Dunno why it was so slow when spawning in. So no problem actually flying this, which is amazing considering the size.

Awesome piece. Love the lights and the extent of all the hallways. Creative use of "steep stairs" and rounded armor blocks as well. But the performance was 0.03 sim speed, lol. Once I set it to static grid it worked though. But until I got to a terminal interface it was a slide show. I wonder what CPU could get a somewhat decent sim speed out of its dynamic grid version.

Don't worry i can certainly do that for you, i can understand that big SE projects take alot of thime. I did play a game which is simpler than SE, was Cosmoteer and i did stuff like that, building a giant alien ship which can dwarf the protoss mother ship (laggy/fps slow down). And the USS Vengeance from the Kelvin timeline, slow to move but it's firepower is OP.
