which i am, so yea thx
It's the little things like this that crack me up!
Then I killed a prime during it's reaction and it soft-locked my game.
Now I never play on Ironman, and I never play without the console, so I can fix little bugs like that myself on the fly, but removing the mechanic altogether is safer and more stable. The title of this mod gave me the impression it would otherwise weaken enemies, which I didn't want, but after reading the short description I was pleasantly surprised.
I'm inspired now.
Now, on returning to XCOM2 after a long break playing other games, and considering if I wanted to use the ABA mods again, seeing this was the incentive. I've now re-subscribed ABA, Campaign Plus, Militia, DLC, Missions Plus - and this one to turn off that one thing that always grated on me.
So, DerBK, although you may 'roll your eyes' and 'take your shower', *chuckle*, I will join the list of people who will actually thank you for this minor correction to an otherwise great set of mods. Cheers!
Fair enough, and in that case maybe I will try modding it myself sometime in the future. Thanks for the response, and again for releasing this side mod as well
Not by me, making this mod in the first place already caused some serious strain on my visual nerves from all the eye rolling.
But as usual with my mods, anyone else is free to do with them as they please, including expanding and reuploading.
You do you, just wanted to say ABA is essential, congratulations!
Nope, just wanted to knock out one of the last thing i get bugged about a lot.
I would god damn love if you could add a Faceless Prime and update the Specte Prime and Chrissalid Crawler models (Spectre has no distinct skin and Crawler would look better with Legacy DLC pale-white skin)
Though, I have the tendency to airlift out if I see a sectoid prime, THAT thing is insane to handle.
Like making Beta Strike work with ABA, someone might want to disable Sectopod and Gatekeeper Prime reactions there.
Or they may have gotten a visit by their 6yo niece that wants to give the game a go because its so colorful.
Both are scenarios where i wouldn't blame them (much) for giving this plugin a whirl.
I may not like it, but it's something that people need/want and it only takes me 10 minutes to do, so i figured 'why not'. At least i got something to link to now in place of a longer reply.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
