Very nice. If you;'re stuck on this for more than 10 mins, take a step back. You're probably overthinking it.

Very nice! I love the chamber portal 1 style, and the puzzle was fun! I wish it was longer. 7/10

Couldn't figure it out, just ended up through the cube. 10/10

Very cool now Now I wish there was more puzzles elements like having only an blue portal gun and portal creators.

Glad you all continue to enjoy this tiny map of mine :]
@PlaceHolder_072 You can use a mod called BEEMod; it allows you to use more items in the level editor than the default set the game provides, and you can change the style of your puzzles. It's very useful!
PlaceHolder_072 1 Apr, 2024 @ 5:39pm
how do you get the portal 1 elements into this game?
QuickSinger21 27 Jan, 2024 @ 2:29pm
same

One of my favorite maps ever. Its simplicity and elegance never gets old.
SArpnt 30 Jul, 2023 @ 4:54pm
if you finish the level (to where the radio is) then walk back you can get softlocked since the orange portal dissapears and can never come back. if the orange portal came back it would've been a great opportunity to add a secret message to the radio. put the portal on the white surface, walk back, then the radio will come out at the top or at the middle. this could work either by just making the orange portal reappear when walking back or reappear when toggling the button

Thanks for playing everyone! It's cool to see that this map is still enjoyable even after all this time! Just a shame that silly bug @Robothedgehog describes still happens to people too. Also @Vin, thank you :DDDDDDD
glorygaming69 29 Nov, 2022 @ 2:17am
your levels are amazing mike :)))))))))))))))))
Robothedgehog 7 Nov, 2022 @ 10:13pm
Nice and simple demonstration of null portal

Does the bug happen to be cube jumping up and then rocketing over the button? Because of course that would happen to me, first try. lol

Fun little puzzle  Here's a little playthrough https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bI84qwCASvo [/spoilers]

OK I got it. GG

OMG, I stuck for a hour
bloodycockroaches 14 May, 2022 @ 6:46am
A fun, simple yet deviously clever puzzle. I never would have thought of intentionally closing a portal to move a cube, but I enjoy this litle map as an introduction to this col trick. I enjoyed, thank you for making.
RetroRodent 13 May, 2022 @ 5:02am
Fun puzzle! I didn't realize that the chequered surface was a portal-able surface on my first playthrough, so I instead solved the test by throwing the cube at the button from the highest area...
lapicidas 16 Jan, 2022 @ 12:18am
tricky short puzzle
Mikeastro  [author] 10 Nov, 2020 @ 4:21pm
@Muzozavr Thanks! When showcasing a neat little trick, I try to keep things small to make it not unnecessarily hidden. It's more fun when more people find the solution for themselves :D
Muzozavr 10 Nov, 2020 @ 4:14pm
OK, a fairly simple demonstration map. Indeed, I've never seen this trick before! A clever idea. Don't know how long it would've taken me to spot this in the context of a larger puzzle.
Mikeastro  [author] 8 Sep, 2019 @ 3:42pm
@Spider_Dawg Welcome back :] This one is just a small trick
Spider_Dawg 8 Sep, 2019 @ 3:31pm
Nice. I got it fairly quickly, refreshing map to come back to after 2 days rest from Portal.
Mikeastro  [author] 8 Sep, 2019 @ 11:13am
@kimist108 If it were really that simple, it wouldn't be fun, would it? :p
kimist108 8 Sep, 2019 @ 9:33am
Fun, interesting map. Seems simple at first, but then you get stopped and realize it is not so simple.
nock 7 Jun, 2019 @ 3:52am
Had the idea, just took me a while to get there :)

@Anpy Thanks! I try to come up with original concepts occasionally so I'm glad I succeeded this time :D
anpy 12 May, 2019 @ 5:15am
Very cool execution of null portals. I don't think I've ever seen it used with monoportals before. Thumbs up and favorite :)
Mikeastro  [author] 30 Apr, 2019 @ 11:59am
@PhilFromFrance Thank you :]
EndOfPortal 29 Apr, 2019 @ 2:54pm
Fun and clever map.
Mikeastro  [author] 29 Apr, 2019 @ 9:51am
@Leomievs Haha incredible that you had already thought of it before o_O I feel like a broken record, saying ''great minds think alike'', but I'm still going to :P You can still be the first to make a real puzzle out of the concept, though. Very cool video - I really enjoyed your commentary
Leo 29 Apr, 2019 @ 7:45am
Nice little puzzle! Believe it or not, I've had the exact same idea before, but haven't yet implemented it. It seems our ideas war keeps going... Anyway I enjoyed it, and the Portal 1 style was refreshing. My commented playthrough: https://youtu.be/mfOPZnFrXZo
kwinten 29 Apr, 2019 @ 6:32am
very good proof of concept, would like to see more maps using it :)
Mikeastro  [author] 28 Apr, 2019 @ 4:47pm
@asears16 Thanks for the video! It's funny to see you for a few moments contemplating what on earth is going on here, but then quickly realising the trick :] Hope you had a good trip
asears16 28 Apr, 2019 @ 4:25pm
Simple, clever, and fun! Nice proof of concept. :)

@bullfrog Thanks for playing :)
bullfrog 27 Apr, 2019 @ 10:53pm
Good proof of a clever concept.
Mikeastro  [author] 27 Apr, 2019 @ 11:52am
@quatrus Lol that is impressive to say the least. Your way is even more creative than the intended solution, but I doubt I (or anyone) will ever make a map intending that :P Thanks for playing though
quatrus 27 Apr, 2019 @ 11:15am
Hmmm from the runs it seems like everyone did it the same way elegantly. I used the downed camera and leaned the cube on it up against the wall - stand on the elevator and 2 portals quickly dropped it onto the button. P1 old school sorry. Thanks for creating.
Mikeastro  [author] 26 Apr, 2019 @ 3:10pm
@jp Thanks! Glad you liked it. And yeah sorry about the bug :|
jp 26 Apr, 2019 @ 2:14pm
Excellent, fun and easy :)
(For your stats : I got the bug only once)
Thumb up!
可砸 26 Apr, 2019 @ 3:50am
I think the cube might be did something stupid.:bbtcat:
Mikeastro  [author] 26 Apr, 2019 @ 12:46am
@可砸的六度双音 Lol I wonder how that cube ended up all the way overthere :P
@HugoBDesigner Thank you for the video! It was fun to watch. Glad you liked it :)

Great monoportal map with nice visuals! Here's my blind playthrough: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1XNA9Ewu-Kw

I did succeed hahah:lolo:

Lorefunder 25 Apr, 2019 @ 4:02pm
Hah, yeah. I just remembered you mentioned it, but was confused. Now I understand, it's real dumb. Still a good map when source isn't stupid.
Mikeastro  [author] 25 Apr, 2019 @ 3:56pm
@Pikajew Thank you! I'm really glad you liked it. I suppose by now it was to be expected that someone would complain about the stupid glitch - you're the ninth commenter, so I guess my statistics in the description weren't that far off :P
Lorefunder 25 Apr, 2019 @ 3:41pm
Though it is tiny, it is amazing. I loved the mechanics used with the monoportals. Also, I see that stupid glitch you were talking about :/. Favorite!
Mikeastro  [author] 25 Apr, 2019 @ 8:47am
@ZAEROS Thanks! Well done solving it
@Narkodes Now that has to be the quickest blind run I've ever seen xD Excellent work
ZAEROS 25 Apr, 2019 @ 5:33am
Good fun map, Almost gave up after not finding a fizzler anywhere, Enjoyed, Thank you.
Narkodes 25 Apr, 2019 @ 5:17am
Nice one. Here's my blind run, it took me under 2 minutes to come up with a solution. (yeah, the host_timescale command, I know...) It's a cool idea, I would like to see it in a bigger mono portal map as well ;)
