this stuff should all be in its own build mode catagory if it isnt already, like CMKillingTime, not junking up the interior tab

Only "Sit on the Floor" is facing the wrong way. Can't you fix that?

Third Eye Trance does not increase combat skill. As far as I can tell, it's for increased healing only. Not worth it. Besides, when I added more mods, using the training matts unfortunately started causing crashes, so I have to unsub this mod. For training, I think I will be using the gym tools instead, even though this mod is better... but as I said, causes crashes so I have no choice but to unsub. I will be missing the guard stands.

Yeah third eye trance mat does not increase martial ability.

No, Third Eye Trance has nothing to do with sleeping. It does two things. First, it makes your character float in the air in the lotus position, which looks cool. Second, it trains martial arts up to 60. It is also not necessary to buy the scroll for 1,000,000 cats. There is a meditation idle under the "gym" category that will create the scroll for free, but it takes a long time to finish. Once you have the scroll you can put it in your research workbench and learn the floating meditation that trains MA, and then everyone in your faction can use it.

what the hell does third eye trance do? i paid a million cat for this and I dont even know what it does. I set the mat down and my guy is floating, and then nothing... just floating.

@Chozen Hmmm... I never noticed this issue. I always put the mats on the outer periphery of gates, though.

when I put the idles near a gate... none of my guys freely pass through the gate. They all stop and get stuck at the gate. Any Solutions?

So, I found a solution to the female idle animations at least, well for me anyway. Hopefully it works for the rest of you.

Search for Idle Stands Patches and download them all. I had a number of them, inculding UWE and Robotic Limb Base Skeletons and so on.

Somewhere in the mess I was able to get males to use Idle Stands and females to use More Idle Animations without a problem. I also downloaded the CTD fix mentioned below. Haven't tried the Idle Stands placement things at all, so idk how that will go, I was just trying to fix the normal actually idle stands.

*shrug* Again, hope it works for the rest of you guys.

Get the CTD fix and see if that makes a difference. Might be your mod order too. Been a while since I messed around with it.

Does this still work for anyone else? Because my animations don't work, and they just stand around absolutely stiff like a plank with absolutely no idle animations that they had before standing on it and and it just makes everything and especially skeletons look like actual robots. Trying to figure out if its a mod conflicting with it.

OK I have no idea how I missed this - but there's a mod on Nexus called CTD fix which seems to completely fix the animation-related CTD's. Don't know how. Don't know why. I just copied over the files and the game just works now.

Have had 2 crashes since, only when switching between multiple groups in different regions repeatedly.

This mod is great - I would say essential to avoid the game being a sucking grind - but be warned that it causes frequent crashes when panning the camera to animations for the first time after loading a game or loading a cell (i.e. returning to your base after having left). The Martial Artist gym mat and Cage Dance seem to be particularly obnoxious culprits - sometimes glitching characters into weird contortions - but it can happen with any one that has animation.

I have no idea what causes this or if it can be fixed by changing mod load order. I keep trying but nothing works... I think it just might be the mod itself.

I tried freeing up RAM but it doesn't appear that that's the problem. I noticed the problem can be lessened by having fewer characters doing animations but by no means is this a solid solution.

!!!!!USE THIS MOD but avoid using the GYM!!!!!

Its a cool mod and I like it a lot. That was until I found out that it was the reason my game was crashing.

Cause of Crash:
If you are using the Gym part of this mod in your building and change floors it will crash your game. Tested this several times wanted to be sure. There is a way around it, but if you aren't thinking about it could cause you to loose a good about of time.

Not the cause:
Mats that don't train or include movement don't crash the game.

So, FYI:
- A character working a job successfully won't check their task list until something causes them to stop working that job. Priority no longer matters if the character successfully has something to be doing.
- A character with a job WILL leave that job to get food when hungry. After they obtain food, their priority list will be re-evaluated, so they might go do something else if a higher priority item is available.
- If a character cannot fit any available food into their inventory, they will NOT leave their current task and will instead work it until they literally pass out from hunger.
- If you right-click to assign someone directly (WITHOUT making it a job), they will single-mindedly do what they're told until they pass out, die, or come under direct attack. They will NOT leave such a direct assignment for hunger or any other reason including allies being attacked.

Idk if this is still being worked on or not, but I've noticed that if i have one of these stands set as a job, characters won't leave their current stand for another higher priority one if it becomes available.

For example i had four characters each with four jobs, each job was for the same already-occupied object.

Training Dummy
Push ups
Situps
Knee Highs

With each character having the previous character's top job as their bottom job. The idea was that whoever was on the training dummy would get hungry, leave to get food, and then whoever was on push ups would go to the training dummy, prompting whoever was on situps to go to pushups, and so on until the original person on the Dummy would go to Knee Highs.

When the person who was on Training Dummy left though, nobody moved until i manually moved them away from their idle stand. I'm not sure if they'd leave to get food if they needed too.

Do you know of any way to fix this?

No, you'd have to make a patch for any custom races, like I did for the Concept Skeletons. Take a look at my patch on my workshop if you're not sure how to do that, and copy what I did for the new race you want to use.

This is pretty cool and those Harem ones gave me a good laugh... turned my game session on it's head for about a half hour while I made the sqd do terrible things then it was back to business =)

'Squating (crouch pose)' mod is TOTALLY INCOMPATIBLE. *Dont* use both use one or the other. Otherwise still working A-1 at the moment with a mod heavy playthru.:yawp:

@Paul: so, the meditation thing is a cute semi-easter-egg where if you do it long enough, you'll know when you've completed it. It takes a LONG time and I don't think you have to do it all at once. It unlocks a sort of special resting mode you can use anywhere.

Ive Spent a good 30 mins reading, trying to figure out why they wont show, I have researched it but i ONLY have 5 animations, in interior, Where are the rest? Is this confilcting with another mod? (I few building mods) its at the bottom of my mod list load order, im just searching through all categories and cannot find other ones, Should they all be in interior ??

Hey folks, to those who wanted balance changes and a SFW version - I made a patch that fixes the placement issue so you can put guards at your gate now, re-balanced the training items and meditation so they aren't OP, and removed the NSFW stuff:

....i've also trimmed my version of the "nsfw" poses and other random, ah, questionable bits lol. I just can't picture my Skeleton gate guards.... um.... yeah. Not going there xD.

@llamabomb, you still around? I fixed the placement issue by raising the Y of the use nodes to 20. They still show and enforce orientation, but can now be placed anywhere, including the &(*)$?!! Gate platforms, because the node is no longer colliding with the structure. Are you still updating this mod, or should I upload my patch?

Also @Aunty it's relatively simple to patch for races, I made a patch for the Concept Art Skeletons. Just go into the race, select "Animation Package" from the drop-down, and select this mod's animation file as the target.
